As a positive 7 year old, I Loved the bathroom,as for none of my other hotels had it and the 🪟 view from the balcony was AMAZING 😍 I loved how there was a guest bucket included in the kitchen room .And overall it exceeded my expectations.

Amazing as pub was extremely busy with Xmas parties and so noisy we thought oh no here we go But as soon as you walked in the hotel area and closed the door you could not hear a peep The room was huge 4 great size beds a beautiful bathroom heaps of fluffy fresh towels Air conditioning could use a service in room 3 wasn't really cold only cool but that's the only negative So so good The food was wonderful in the pub nice cold beers the cocktail page was vast selection I was just super impressed with the limited amount of noise between the room and the pub so pleasantly surprised 🤨

Because I grew up in lake Macquarie, I have a fondness for the close proximity of lake, bush and beach. Nothing else comes close to this amount of peace and quiet, its not too touristy, but just busy enough to have a lot of choice regarding food, accommodation and lovely views of the lake!!

We had a nice stop of one night on our way to Sydney driven...

We had a nice stop of one night on our way to Sydney driven from Brisbane. It has a great location with near by Coles and Cafe with the beach view. The room is good size for the family of four and it is clean and tidy. We would come back in the future. However, the smoking smell from outside was a bit annoying even our door and windows were all closed but still the smoking smell would come inside the room.

The Toronto Hotel/Pub was right on top of the hill, amazing views over Lake Macquarie Excellent mid range priced meals Has a Coles and Woolworths for groceries Worth hiring a bike and exploring , riding around the lakeside

Toronto is boring, nothing there but the lake, shops are always closing early and there is no night life very little to do especially in winter , summer may be a little better, but not many restaurants either and they pack up quickly, we found we left or went to other locations to eat.

Toronto is a good comprised place when you cannot get your holiday properties in Swansea. Don't forget to visit Long Jetty Foreshore Reserve, Catherine Hill Bay sunrise morning walk and visit Cave Beach for your sunset photos shots (MUST do this safely during low tide)

Hadnt been here in 10years. Staff were exceptional!! Gayle at reception was very accommodating. Car had broken down, she held a room for us, made sure we had access to facilities and even offered to call our hotel to arrange a refund and reschedule. Service like this is unheard of!! we will definitely be back 10/10. Great location, restaurants, supermarkets, lake accross the road, and not to forget the best noodle bar (noodle paradise) not far.

Outside appearances aren't always correct. This is an old-style motel, but our room was newly painted and refurbed. The bathroom looked new. Our casual dinner in the Toronto Hotel was excellent and the service friendly and fast. We'd happily stay again and recommend to others.

Donna and Mike were so easy to deal with and very responsive to any queries. The house is lovely and very comfortable. Lovely water views from certain aspects and close enough for a comfortable stroll to shops, restaurants, cafes, clubs and the hotel.
