It’s a 1963 motel which has been completely renovated but still keeping to the theme. Colour coordination follows through out. Very comfortable beds. Top end kitchen appliances ie smeg and husky. The property manager Nicole is a gem nothing too much effort and very knowledgeable of the area

Very nice and large room with a terrace. Well equipped. Bed was amazing. Very nice staff. Free parking. Quite close to city centre, walkable distance. We also enjoyed the pub downstairs. The village was great, nice to walk around and go out for dinner.

This is a wonderful hotel. I was asked on arrival if I'd like a cheaper upgrade, which I took and the most amazing views. The staff were always very pleasant and helpful with anything I needed. The room was spacious and comfortable. Everything is kept lovely and clean. I had breakfast there both mornings, which has a wide selection for you to choose from for a decent price. One of the added extras i love was the free water in the lobby to fill up your water bottle. You had a choice to even get sparkling water if preferred. This was a very nice touch. You are a stones throw away from the most beautiful beach, town, and some lovely food places. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and would stay again if I returned from the UK 🇬🇧

The location was good and has a very good Supermarket nearby...

The location was good and has a very good Supermarket nearby and a Chinese restaurant. Places to eat and s small shopping mall including a very good bakery. Wests Illawarra club near where I stayed is very good. The Unanderra Hotel is the only accommodation and it clearly isn't worth it. Tissues only used for toilet paper which quickly ran out and wasn't replaced. Definitely not worth the money. Don't stay in Unanderra use nearby Elsinor Lodge in Dapto or stay in Wollongong. Unanderra is safe for solo women including at night.

The property Waratah was awful !

The property Waratah was awful ! Low beds, cheap mattresses, no bath mats, no hand towels, no proper heating - cheap portable heaters that short circuited the house. No serving platters, no salad bowl, not enough cutlery. Drawers in kitchen with no handles so could not find the frying pan. The pictures to the property are deceiving - it is 4 levels. No point in having a window looking at the hills when basic necessities are missing. No placemats for the dining table with only 6 chairs when house is advertised for 8. There were only 6 glasses, we had to buy ourselves some glasses. Would not recommend this property to anyone.
