There are walks from the famous Keppel Bay marina south of Yeppoon to Rosslyn Bay and dramatic landscapes, quarry and mountain as well as tours to the bay and reef. Yeppoon has a good selection of shops, bars, cafes and restaurants plus beachside walk and parks excellent for children. There is the tourist visitor centre just out of Yeppoon where there is a World Class marine and shell life museum - a must see for the whole family. Small coastal town feel with pretty much everything you would need.

Yepoon is a lovely coastal town.

Yepoon is a lovely coastal town. It is a great place to stop and unwind. Keppel Bay Sails Club has great food. The staff are fantastic and friendly. There are many things to do if you take the time to wander around and discover. Nearby Emu Park is beautiful. The war memorial is a must to visit as is the corner Cafe. This part of the coast is always a great stopping point.

I love Yeppoon!

I love Yeppoon! It's relaxed and chilled with the right amount of restaurants, shopping and atmosphere. It's easy to drive/walk around the town, with all the local beaches great for swimming and strolling.

Yeppoon is such a lovely, sleepy coastal town that harks back to a much slower pace of life. It is well set out, with easy access to everything. The only negative I would have is that we travelled up from Brisbane on a Monday and by the time we arrived in Yeppoon the eating places had all closed up until dinner service and it was hard to find somewhere to get something to eat. The locals didn't seem to understand that they could recommend a takeaway place. We did eventually get told about a fish and chip shop down the main shopping street and if you want really amazing fish and chips I totally recommend you go there, I can't remember the name of it but it is tucked in next to one of the pubs.

Very pretty place.

Very pretty place. I hadn't been there before and was surprised at the islands close to the mainland. Would have liked to have more time to visit more beaches and rocky sea shores. The Waterside restaurant had great food, although didn't like the ordering system via phone: the daily special wasn't easily found on the on-line menu. Bowls club had reasonable bistro as well.

We really enjoyed our stay at Rosslyn Bay Resort. Waking up to views of the ocean and hearing the waves crash at night was just what we were after for a holiday. The staff were so friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the pool and the ease of walking across to the beach, rocks and boat harbour. The rooms were clean, beds were comfy and its just a short drive to Emu Park or Yeppoon.

This place is awesome 😎 recommend for anyone clean and tidy and honest to god family friendly my kids went to beach 🏖️ fishing 🎣 and bought home enough to cook for tea ☺️ they bent over backwards for me can't recommend them enough ❤️. My boy boards at Yeppoon and will be visiting regularly if vacant for certain. Everything promised and much much more worth every cent 🙂.

The cabins are nicely spaced on the site and are surrounded by well kept manicured gardens. The pool is clean and inviting, the BBQ area has plenty of seating on a grassed area. The setting gives the feel of being in the bush but is only a few kilometres from central Yeppoon. Host’s Kathy and Michael were exceptional

The location is brilliant for peace and quiet and right on the beach. You can walk out of your room and straight onto the beach. Private beach for the hotel, it’s a peaceful little gem.
