The location is perfect. The apartment is new and very clean and tidy. The landlord offered us delicious tea and watermelon for supper. He is also fluent in English. The breakfast was really tasty.

We really enjoyed our stay at the guesthouse! The warm hospitality we received was exceptional, and the dinner and breakfast were delicious. Although the guesthouse is located up on a steep hill and our driver couldn't drive up all the way, the owner kindly drove down in his 4WD to pick us up. We wished we could have extended our stay in Lahij to go hiking/trekking in the area.

Wonderful hotel! We stayed at Basqal Resort & SPA in July and absolutely loved it. The room was stylish, clean, and cozy. The grounds are beautiful and well-maintained, with fresh air and peaceful surroundings. The indoor pool, spa area, and the food at the restaurant were all excellent. A special highlight was the tea served from a samovar — such a charming tradition that added warmth and authenticity to our stay. It was lovely to sit outside, enjoy the view of nature, and sip delicious tea. Huge thanks to manager Elmi Məmmədli for his outstanding service — very attentive, kind, and professional. He truly made our stay unforgettable. We would love to come back and highly recommend this hotel to anyone who values comfort, care, and a soulful atmosphere.

The place is just amazing. From the villa to the view and of course service. The houses is made with taste, brand new, with modern design. So many small things which make your stay unforgettable. Floor to ceilings window creates an amazing impression, such a pleasure to wake up surrounding by nature. It was incredibly peaceful, quiet, and romantic—perfect for anyone looking to escape the noise of the city. Surrounded by greenery, the atmosphere was calming and relaxing throughout our stay. The property felt very safe, with a secure boundary and surveillance cameras. The host was extremely kind and made sure everything was perfect, checking in to ensure we didn’t face any issues. 10/10 experience. We are a family who stayed for one night at this place. The experience was amazing, the room was super clean, the view was nice to the lake, the environment, including the ducks, trees, and the kids playground around the place was lovely, and the breakfast was delicious (it is house-made based on your choice of the main dishes and in your preferred time also 👌). The staff is a helper couple who are taking care of everything even for the detailed to make our stay perfect, and really they are made it unforgotten.
