It needed to be between 5 and 7 days to really experience all that it has to offer. The beautiful convergence of prayerful locals & devout pilgrims of hope. The local community is very friendly & helpful. What was challenging was the freezing cold winds (even in mid spring!).so come prepared with an extra warm sweater & gloves. The scones & grill fish at Colombo are good.
