Lovely hotel in a rural location. As a small group of motorcyclists we stayed here while touring. The staff were extremely helpful and even offered to let us put the bikes in their garage. The rooms were all very clean with nice bathrooms and beds are super comfy. Due its rural location we opted to eat in the restaurant in the evening and the food was extremely good and worth the 2 courses for 35 euros price. All the staff spoke good English which helped with our basic GCSE French. The hotel has its own bar with a good selection of local beers, etc.

We are frequent travellers and honestly: this place is just wonderful. Discrete luxury without the frills. Location is top - some of the cutest villages surrounding. Close to a little village w good food and local delicacies; but still exclusive and outside, secluded among the trees and with a magnificent view on the valley and mountains. The hosts - and their cute dogs, rabbits, cats, and donkeys - are lovely and present whenever you need them. The facilities were 100 pct: the house was spacious, tastefully decorated and calm; the huge swimming pool which we mostly had to ourselves to the delight of the kids; a huge outside areas where the kids were safe and happy playing on the premises. We mostly cooked ourselves so can even vouch for the functionality of the fully-equipped kitchen.

The Inn is a lovely place for a break and to center yourself. The staff speak French, so if you don't be prepared to muddle through. The hearth in the main room is the highlight, guests come and go from sitting around it all day. The breakfast is wonderful, and the best free continental breakfast I have ever had. The coffee was perfect... and I'm picky. I had 6 and 4 year old children with me, and they loved it. My son at all of the croissants at breakfast for us, my daughter couldn't get enough of the pain de chocolate.

Wow, we booked on line for a place in the Belgium country side as we are making our way south to Florence. We picked a cheaper remote hotel expecting the average. When we arrived we found an upmarket historic property situated just outside a quaint village and set beside the most amazing stream. After settling into our comfortable room we went down to the the beautiful lounge area beside a stone fire place. Outside the sounds of the stream set a magic environment to enjoy a glass of local red wine and cheese. We then went to the restaurant where we enjoyed a perfectly cooked steak and vegetables, with fresh salad and hot crisp chips. Perfect. So good was our stay we decided to book and additional night. If you are a hiker or just enjoy life and love good living here is your place

Hotel has a spectacular view of the old castle in Boullion. I wish I knew more about it. The Hotel sits on top of a ridge overlooking Boullion and the Semois River. It has a great terrace which is where I ate dinner. I got there late, but the staff was able to put together a rather nice meal for me. this Hotel is where German General Heinz Guderian stayed the night before the Meuse River Crossings at Sedan on May 13, 1940 which changed world history.

Every was great! The quiet room with view on the Semois river and the castle. The global atmosphere of the hotel. The stylish restaurant where we enjoyed a delicious dinner. Breakfast was also fantastic with bubbles (cava) and a large choice of top qualily products. The location of the hotel is also perfect, in the centre of the town. We could explore all the main attractions by foot.

Breakfast was amazing! Lots of options and the owners were very kinds asking if we wanted another coffee, tea etc. The products they use are local products and they even asked us at what time we would like to have breakfast :)

Both Guido and his wife are friendly hosts, making you feel nothing is too much trouble. The auberge has outdoor seating both front and back of the property, offering sun or shade for a quiet drink of beer. Guido is a marvellous chef, I would be the size of a house if I had stayed longer. I was on a motorbike and was offered the use of their garage for overnight parking.

    We loved our stay. Carole was such a wonderful host; warm, kind and friendly. We needed to do laundry and she offered to do it for us. The room was comfortable and spacious. The hotel was charming. A real highlight was the restaurant, we had a pre-dinner drink in the gorgeous bar and then a wonderful meal for very good value at the restaurant, given the quality of the food. We would highly recommend to anyone!

    Location; were concerned about it being on main road, but was actually fairly quiet, but easy walking distance to village facilities, kayak departure. Walking; plenty of walks from hotel and short car journey. Manager very informative and provided good walking map. Garden; spacious and easy to get drinks any time of day.

    Good location, friendly and helpful staff, always ready to answer our questions and give useful information. Clean and comfortable room. The hotel is a very well renovated old building that still brings the atmosphere of the past. The restaurant offers very delicious meals and wines, and the same charming atmosphere.

    The house was very cosy,very well equipped,very original and well styled. We loved the garden and the extra space to eat outside. Finally we managed to do a bbq! The owners were very nice and responsive. We have never been in Alle,what a beautiful place to stay.
