Beautiful Hotel. With excellent service. The Hotel was very clean and very well staffed. The rooms were large and very comfortable, as well as very nice. They had a wonderful buffet with everything you could think of. One of the best hotel breakfast’s we had with traveling in Europe. Location is wonderful only a few blocks from the city square. We couldn’t have asked for better.

What Guests Said About Bruges:

I've been to Bruges a few times, last time was 9 years ago...

I've been to Bruges a few times, last time was 9 years ago and not much has changed in that time, which is good. The city is beautiful, clean and compact which means you can easily see all of the old, historic part on foot. You can get a horse-drawn carriage ride around the old part if walking all day is not for you. There are plenty of gorgeously decorated shops, especially if you go during December for the Christmas Markets. Also there are plenty of places to eat and it's worth checking out some of the ones that are not in the main Market Square as they are rather touristy, and perhaps of lesser quality.

Enjoying the Christmas markets and Glow walk for putting you in the festive spirit. Wandering through the cobbled streets (pretty much car free) with beautiful architecture, stopping for food and drink and taking in the atmosphere. Learning the history of chocolate and beer making - at the heart of the city. Warming drinks and hearty food. Everyone is friendly and the city is so clean people here definitely take pride in their city. Largely car free but many public secure underground car parks in easy walk of the centre. Kids wil enjoy the Museum of Chocolate with all you can eat chocolate at the end if the tour and the history of Bruges gives and interactive way to learn of medieval Bruges. Fights of Beers to experience different beers available at the Beer Wall and so many to chose from - it overlooks the canal. Best Beer shop - The Bottle Shop.

We loved the city, the architecture and the friendly people.

We loved the city, the architecture and the friendly people. The Christmas Market was very disappointing but we enjoyed the light trail. The WalkingTrail booked in the Tourist Office was excellent and offered a real insight into the city. It was very busy and we would like to visit in the spring, perhaps with fewer tourists about. The city is very accessible on foot. Restaurants need to be booked in advance but we were very fortunate to be staying next to Boeme Patat-an excellent welcoming restaurant. Local residents were always willing to help and offer advice and we particularly enjoyed a visit to Magdalena Church in Astrid Park.

Bruges is the most beautiful city we know, we have been completely in love with the city for 34 years and regard Bruges almost as a second home. Bruges combines jaw-dropping history and beauty with a hospitality which is World Class. There is something for every budget and the people of Bruges are friendly and welcoming. We particularly adore the pre-Christmas atmosphere, the illuminations make Bruges even more enchanting than it already is. Considering how close Bruges is to Calais or Dunkirk, a break there is pretty stress-free.

We had heard how amazing the bruges christmas markets were, so wanted to experience them for ourselves. Having done UK christmas markets have to say We were a little disappointed. The location and feel were great but there was not as many stalls as we were expecting and not much variety in crafts/goods to purchase and all very similar Felt what Brussels had to offer was better just not as nice location

It's very very clean, and no graffiti anywhere and no animal mess on the pavements. The carriage horses have their's cleaned up as well. It's a place to walk around as there are so many interesting buildings to see. There are churches and museums beautiful squares and of course you can walk around the town along the main canal. Lots of individual shops and of course plenty of beer and chocolate shops.

A lovely small hotel in a fantastic location, close to the center of Bruges. Veronique was friendly and super-informative on check-in. The room was stylish, spotless, with every amenity. Bedding was of a high quality and the bed so comfortable. Great shower and bathroom too. We slept so well as the room was dark and quiet. Breakfast was ample and delicious but the best thing about this hotel was the owner/manager who really cares about her guests and their comfort. Highly recommended.

The location was ideal for the train station. The staff at reception were very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The bedding on the main bed seemed clean. Early check in and late check out compared to the usual for Belgium. A lot cheaper than most hotels in Bruges which proved to be the most expensive city we visited in the country.
