La Roche en Ardenne is a little village with lovely countryside for hiking, biking, kayaking and probably even trout fishing although we did not do that. The room was perfect, the bar had any kind of beer, liquor or wine you could want, the staff were friendly and accommodating and multilingual, breakfast was amazing, and they have a sauna/relaxation room. The Wildlife park is really worth a visit but it is a steep 2,5KM walk. You can drive, though we didnt. The views over La Roche, from the castle are excellent. There are plenty of places to eat and dink, however they can get very busy in a Saturday evening. We ate at the Chinese restaurant with a lovely view out over the river. The hotel did not provide breakfast but offered vouchers for partner restaurants / bakerys nearby. This was communicated via E-Mail. When we arrived it turned out that the vouchers consisted only in a 10% discount on the normal price.
