Wonderful couple Niels and Anke are the owners of this beautiful hotel. I was really surprised with hospitality and client oriented approach. Room was very big and comfortable. Mini bar had a good selection of beer and wine. Nespresso machine and wondeful cookies was top. It’s worth writing separately about the magnificent bathroom. It is almost the same size as the main room. Everything is done in vintage style. Looks amazing. If you want to feel like a count or baron, then you definitely need to stay at this hotel. At the backyard there is a beautiful garden with tables and chairs, where you can enjoy nature of Flanders. I recommend to try dinner in their own restaurant. Anke is a professional chief. She cooks like a God. All dishes were superb. For such good price you get Michelin like quality. I am not kidding. And with combination of belgium beers dinner was top of a notch. Thank you Niels and Anke! I will stay there next time during Ronde Van Vlaanderen! Best option in Flanders!

Clearly not a tourist destination, but suited our needs. Nothing much here other than car showrooms and a few pretty boring towns. We enjoyed the peace of the lake but nothing else exciting to do here other than visit ghent.

Dirty, filthy, smelly, extremely dated. We had three rooms. Room 1 smelled like a wet dog. Room 2 had a broken toilet seat. Room 3 had a shower drain full of dirty pubic hair. The hallways leading to the rooms smelled like sewage. In short, it was a filthy mess. We definitely won't be back, and it's definitely NOT worth a 4* rating.

Too expensive at €130 for what's offered, the beds are very soft (you sink in), and there's no air conditioning (it was 25 degrees outside). Booking.com charges €37 for breakfast (a rip-off!), but on-site it's €23 (still expensive). Breakfast is good (but not great). It's in a slightly older location where the prices are too high. The LokTie location near the highway is handy!

What disappointed me at first was that the hotel is located...

What disappointed me at first was that the hotel is located at a motorway rest area, but once inside, you realize it's very well soundproofed and top-notch.

Beautiful hotel. Conveniently located near the highway. You wouldn't expect such a nice hotel there. Beautiful bathroom, it looked brand new! The hotel towels were very thin :-( My room had been upgraded by the hotel. Air conditioning was available.
