I booked this hotel for my clients from London for a hiking trip in the High Fence and they absolutely loved it. I am from the region but moved to London in the early 2000s and did not know this hotel, to be fair I do not know much about the region anymore. The staff are great, very helpful and have a very good level of English. check in was easy, the rooms are large and clean and the booking process was easy. We did not eat but the restaurant was full on the first day so book in advance if you want a table. Nice bar area, ambiance and the pool was closed but a nice addition to the hotel. Also about 10 minutes walk from the train station downward, so you don’t need a taxi to reach there. It is located next to a great chocolatier(Darcy) and the main shopping centre so the location cannot be more perfect. Really a good discovery. I had to wait a couple of times for my clients at reception and they were very nice and easy about it. I had a glass of rose wine at the bar, great choice and only 4 euro 50. It is a busy restaurant and bar and yet it was quiet. And on the top of that it was a famous cycling race that weekend and most of the hotel was booked for the cyclists and it was still neat and quiet. I will definitely come back in a few months with other clients and some of those who would like to come back 🙂

The suite is perfect for tunning away from the city to just relax and enjoy free time. Owners are great and help with everything if you need. This hotel has a fantastic, cool, sporty/dynamic atmosphere. The staff are lovely and always available. The room was very spacious. The breakfast buffet was excellent. Overall, a great experience. I was expecting a small, somewhat isolated, and quiet hotel, but it was the complete opposite!

Sports enthusiasts won't be disappointed: padel court, golf, pétanque, billiards, etc. The meals are plentiful and well-stocked, with respectable portions and reasonable prices. The hotel is located outside the city, in a quiet area, with secure parking. The rooms are clean and the bedding is comfortable. The staff is friendly and attentive to your needs.

A great (friendly) hotel for a good price.

A great (friendly) hotel for a good price. The restaurant was closed for renovations, but there were a few places to eat nearby. We ate at P'tit Nico, which is highly recommended. Breakfast was available at the hotel. Simple, but tastefully decorated. Because we were just passing through, the surrounding area wasn't as important to us.

Tucked away in a side street, the hotel provides a quiet, comfortable overnight stay. The restaurant offers a good selection of well-prepared dishes with prompt, friendly service. Good breakfast buffet. Park on gravel at the front of the hotel before booking in - don't bother to unload luggage first. Once booked in, you can drive down a ramp to the underground car-park and unload there.

Good free parking, hotel was a bit difficult to find in the town, up a small turning in the street, no signage indicating where it was. Had a lift to the reception area. A fan was provided in the room to cope with the heat. Poor lighting by the bedside for reading. Shower was a hand held device in the bath.

Our car broke down on the motorway in Belgium. We travelled from Sweden to Portugal. We ended up at this hotel for 9 days as the car was repaired. All staff was so friendly and helpful, and for that, we're immensely grateful. Excellent food at the restaurant, also the breakfast was great.
