This house dates from 1913 and their owners had done an amazing job to renovate it. You feel like you are home in différents countries depending on the decoration of the rooms you are in. The bkfast is freshly made every day, all fresh products. Our room Coucou Sauvage is an amazing cozy finely decorated room. It made me travel to Indonesia or some exotic Asian country. Parking is for free, no stay tax applicable. The owner is a great host. It is really a nice jewel in.town, Coucou Boutique Hotel.

Everything was just great. Location is right next to the station, the rooms are designed exceptionally well, clean and comfortable. The Spa and the pool are very welcoming and the owners are trying to arrange an individual experience for all their guests. Our son got chocolate eggs for Easter waiting for us in the room and the next day we all had an amazing sweet raspberry sponge cake as a surprise. Breakfast if very filling and the products are with amazing quality.

It is one of the best hotels I have stayed in for quite a while. The whole package was excellent value for money with spotless rooms and very helpful staff. And the location was very good for the De Haan facilities and beach. And for wheelchair users the hotel along with the whole of De Haan was well ramped providing easy access.

The location is great, very quiet and beautiful surrounding, not far from the beaches. Staff and owners are incredibly friendly and helpful, suggestions for restaurants, service at breakfast etc all absolutely perfect. Lovely interiors with lots of cosy areas and honesty bar- really nice! We will definitely come again!! Kind regards and Thank you very much for a perfect, relaxing short break at Carpe Diem! :-)

A coastal town that's not too busy.

A coastal town that's not too busy. It's great that a ring road has been built around the center, so you don't have to worry about through traffic. There's a walk along the water or through the dune forest to De Haan (5km). You can then choose to return on foot or by coastal tram. Wenduine also has an (indoor) swimming pool (Wielingen).

Wenduine is one of the few quiet spots left on the Belgian...

Wenduine is one of the few quiet spots left on the Belgian coast. There are plenty of dining options, but you'll need to book in advance during peak season. Brasserie de Beurs, de Markt, Elefant surfing, and Restaurant Pur are all excellent. Be careful with the coastal tram, though. De Haan is 5 km away.

The place is very nice, not too big, clean and quiet despite it being May Day. We were with a small child, and the benches all along the seawall were very convenient for the grandparents. The only downside was the lack of open public restrooms.

Wenduine has a beautiful promenade with plenty of seating.

Wenduine has a beautiful promenade with plenty of seating. Ideal for those with limited mobility. It's a neat and quiet seaside town, which we really appreciate. We also had a delicious meal there. We'll definitely be back.

Wenduine is a sentimental choice; I spent my holidays there...

Wenduine is a sentimental choice; I spent my holidays there with my grandparents 60 years ago, and I come now with my grandchildren. It's a wonderful family seaside resort. The Rotunda and the Spioen are unique to Wenduine; there aren't too many shops, and the beach supervision is perfect.

I love visiting Wenduine because it's a small but pleasant...

I love visiting Wenduine because it's a small but pleasant coastal town. You can stroll along the dike with plenty of benches to rest on. You can also take the coastal tram to Blankenberge/De Haan/Oostende.

Wonderful hosts (they make excellent breakfast and delicious pancakes every morning and generally do their best to make your stay as nice as possible), cleanliness, facilities and the surroundings of the villa, clean stables with well kept horses, indoor pool, parking, spacious apartement (our fits a family of six), vicinity of the beaches (Wenduine and Blankenberge) and the amazing town of Brugge...and the cat - Zorro waited to welcome us at the parking lot every day!

Super cosy room with a vintage touch. The entire facility is charming and elegant, as was our host, a very friendly lady whose hospitality is heart warming and delightfully light-hearted. The interior blends authentic Belle Epoque with contemporary elements very successfully. We booked for one night but would happily have stayed an entire week. The hotel is very well situated, very clean. And I loved the bodywash! Rich and gorgeous smelling.

Comfortable mattresses on the beds, good location, quite a large bathroom. Good shower with toilet (everything drains well). There are disposable bags of universal gel in the shower and hair dryer. The room was quiet. There is an elevator. But you have to climb the stairs to get to the hotel.
