Batak was quiet on the Saturday afternoon when we arrived.
Batak was quiet on the Saturday afternoon when we arrived. As if time had stopped. The old historical church is an absolute must-see, stops your breath and gives you goosebumps. The two Batak museums are close by. You can buy a ticket for all three sights in the Batak Historical Museum for 4 lvs (approx. 2 EUR). There are several cafes across the town and small restaurants to eat at. The Batak Reservoir is a 10min drive away. Make sure to either climb up, or drive, to the monument on the hilltop in Batak for a panoramic view of the town.Guest review byRBulgaria - 10.0
