The house was very clean and authentic. Location is excellent and the hosts were very welcoming and kind. They shared with us the history of the village and the house. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, made by the hosts with love and care. We tried several of their handmade berry’s jams and fruity refreshments along with the traditional yoghurt and cheeses. Overall, we had an amazing experience and time at Kanush Voivoda house, and Kovachevitsa!

This is a nice, warm, comfortable room. No luxuries, but everything was new. The owners are nice people and they'll make your stay comfortable, though they probably speak only bulgarian. The village is beautiful, but rather empty at this time of the year. Easy parking.

Perfect getaway for anyone who wants a quiet place away from the world - both the village and the house will give you that! The house itself is beautiful, the rooms are comfortable and cosy - great interiors that will make you feel like you are staying in an old Revival house indeed. The big 'chardak' open terraces on each floor are amazing places to chat with your friends, have morning coffee, or just look at the amazing mountain views. The shower is has excellent pressure and hot water. There is a fully equipped kitchen too, coffee & tea, and everything you might need if you want to cook or grill for yourself. The house is indeed beautiful in both style, size, and comfort. Cannot recommend it enough. The stunning mountain view is even better - as it is one of the higher slopes in the village, you have an unimpeded view! The host is extremely communicative and friendly. She made sure that the tavern in town stayed open a bit later than usual so we could have dinner (as we arrived in the village quite late). Overall - 10/10 in all departments.

The house is very nice, clean, and spacious, with a beautiful garden. It is in a quiet location. Savina is an amazing host. Every morning she prepared a tasty breakfast for us and made a chocolate cake specially for my daughter's birthday. We felt at home. We will definitely be back!

    Amazing architecture.

    Amazing architecture. We loved the old buildings with stone roofs. There were stone pathways and stone walls. We took a hike to St. George’s church up the hill. The views all around town are just beautiful. We felt like we stepped back in time.
