I must say that the resort lived up to its description on the booking site. The moment I stepped in, I was greeted with the same ambiance and beauty that was promised. Staff Excellence: The staff deserves a special mention for their outstanding hospitality. Every member, from the front desk to the service staff, contributed to making my stay delightful. Their warmth and attentiveness added a personal touch that made the experience even more memorable. Impeccable Rooms and Serene Environment: The rooms were not just comfortable; they were clean and well-maintained. The attention to detail in ensuring a pristine environment did not go unnoticed. The overall cleanliness and serenity of the surroundings contributed significantly to the overall positive experience. Generous Breakfast Offer: I was pleasantly surprised by the generous breakfast offering. The fact that it was complimentary for two people per room and served buffet style added to the overall value. The variety and quality of the breakfast options were commendable, making it a delightful start to each day of my stay. Conclusion: In conclusion, my experience at Casa Del Papa Resort and Spa was indeed a positive one. The combination of a well-maintained facility, friendly and professional staff, and thoughtful amenities made for a truly enchanting stay.

What guests said about Grand-Popo:

A simple place, on a long central road.

A simple place, on a long central road. Easily accessible by car or taxi. Roads are good. In Grand-Popo, it's also easy to get a motorcycle taxi. Just raise your hand and someone will always stop. A good restaurant, for example, was "No Stress." A long, natural beach. The people were relaxed, helpful, and friendly. Very quiet in July, with hardly any tourists.

It's a village on the border with Togo.

It's a village on the border with Togo. Very quiet and quaint. It's perfect for relaxing. Don't expect much in the area; Grand Popo is a little place steeped in history and characterized by lush and (still) unspoiled nature. The people are friendly and welcoming. I recommend Vincenzo's pizza on Fridays or Saturdays!

It's a fantastic place to relax, even though it's the most expensive in Benin. Aneho, just a few kilometers away, is equally beautiful and much less expensive. There are many nature excursions to do; just hire one of the many local guides and use it as a base to explore the many surrounding villages. The food is delicious.

It's an ideal place to recharge, sleep, and swim away from the hustle and bustle of the city. It's very relaxing, even if sometimes breakfast didn't include butter and the staff planned to go buy some at 11 a.m.
