The location is excellent as it's near Metrotown, restaurants and the main streets. The gym is well-equipped and spacious. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The room itself was clean, modern and comfortable and the kitchenette provides the flexibility to make simple meals and/or warm up food.

Staff were outstanding, very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was great, good variety and staff available for assistance. Laundry room with everything available via vending machine. Staff were able to provide necessary change required for machines. Pool available. Great location with public transport easy to access. Toiletries, hairdryer & coffee machine/ kettle available for guest use.

It is clean. In general the owner also gives instructions so that the house maintain cleanliness. The stay is comfortable. Shower is good. Facilities are well equipped. Was able to wash and dry my clothes quickly. Owner is friendly and was willing to accommodate to my needs when I request for late check out.

    Burnaby is about a 20 minute metro ride from Vancouver centre. It's easy to get the metro from here. Good shops and places to eat. We liked Central Park - it has a running track around the outisde of the park and lots of paths to walk. A great green space in the city. We ate at a place called Earls and it was excellent. Great food and service.

    So I like being in around a busy center.

    So I like being in around a busy center. What a great idea having a mall right there so everyone can enjoy themselves. Plus good Transportation all over the city. My family is wanting to make another trip there in the future. So you will be seeing us again soon as summer approaches mean summer holidays see you soon thanks for the great experience

    Not friendly people there.

    Not friendly people there. Everyone was in a rush and in a bad mood. Maybe because it was raining all day and the Superstore down the road had computer problems and people could not check out. It was a disaster. Also, the Costco parking near by was INSANE! I wasn't even going to that store but rather a neighbouring restaurant and this guy in his fancy Audi was trying to pass cars in the oncoming lane on the street leading to the Costco parking lot. He almost hit me as I was leaving a restaurant parking lot as the cars were stopped for me. He was such an A-HOLE, getting out of his car to yell in my face. NEVER again am I going to stay in BURN-baby, ha.

    Burnaby is a distance from Vancouver.

    Burnaby is a distance from Vancouver. I did not realize this when I booked. It seems to be a business area and I was a tourist. Services were spot on from dining options to taxi availability. Every time I called a taxi, it arrived almost immediately and I was cheerfully driven into Vancouver.

    An amazing neighborhood of Vancouver, you get the quietness...

    An amazing neighborhood of Vancouver, you get the quietness and the green landscapes without the heavy traffic of downtown. We had access to a number of restaurants mostly asian, and access to many places of interest including Metropolis mall on Kingsway. It was very nice to go around in Burnaby, its parks and attractions.

    With deep learn of train/bus systems and fine weather, the city offers better substitutes for those tall and costly tower hotels in downtown. Sky trains run every five min and ride chokers offered helpful transfer fully rides within 90 min.

    We booked this hotel a long time ago. On the day when we should check in, the landlord sent a message asking us what time to check in this afternoon. We replied to the check-in time. When we arrived at the hotel according to the scheduled check-in time, we called the landlord. The landlord didn't answer the phone and sent a message back, canceling our reservation. We have never met such a landlord, which is irritating.
