The hotel was a short walk from Victoria Park, a lovely park with large trees, paths and walkways. On Saturday a portion of Dundas street was closed off to traffic for pedestrians and vendors were there, along with street musicians. Fairly easy to get around.

Roads under construction for 3 years we were told is bad....we love that they have many restaurants choice is all areas.. way way way too many cars..they need to transport or something. Both of us have lived in London and my husband was born and raised there. I am a Western and Althouse grad. We squeezed in this visit during mostly miserable early winter weather and so did not see the city at its best. However. London is a lovely small and accessible city at any time of year. I had to travel into the downtown core several times a day for work and the location of the hotel provided an easy commute. It is also close to shopping and amenities and the grounds of the property are beautiful and calm. The facilities were relatively clean and quiet. There are plenty of outdoor spaces to sit and eat lunch or do some work. I enjoyed the walking trails and the river.
