Riverbend Inn is beautiful... so much history. On arrival we were greeted by a very friendly receptionist and we offered lovely champagne which my husband and I really enjoyed. Surrounded by vineyards, what a marvelous sight. Peaceful and calm space. Breakfast was absolutely delicious. Loved the decor of the dining room and our bedroom. Beautiful quaint town of NOTL/ Nigara on the Lake 👍 also a short drive away. We will definitely book here again.

The staff are super friendly. Check in and out was easy and friendly. Appreciated the entrance to the pub without going outside. The bed was both clean and comfortable, and the room/bathroom were spotless. We slept well.

The room was beautiful and spacious I loved having a jacuzzi in the room as well as a fireplace and sitting area. The day at the spa was amazing! Martha gave me a massage that was out of this world and I had a facial with Yvonne. I loved being in the hot springs at night while it was snowing. t was the most relaxing trip I've had in years and will be back soon.

    Our two-night trip was to attend the Shaw Festival but we could have stayed longer because there is much to see in NOTL. The restaurants we attended were well appointed and the food was very good. We stayed at the Serenity on the Lake B&B, which was excellent and well located near the historic sight of Butler Barracks and a historic military training field surrounded by trails to walk and explore. We missed the Butterfly Museum for lack of time; another place to visit for next time.

    Feel as if you are in England, flowers, polite folks and much more 10 am (& other times) historic & ghost walking tours. Afternoon Tea (incredible & affordble, light & airy cafe) and tours in costume, garden, gift sho all very fine at McFarland Museum If on Niagara Pwy on the way into NOTL from Niagara Falls, stop at Linda Secord fantastic house museum; get ice cream (inexpensive & BIG) & special Linda Secord chocolates Stay for costumed tour or come back. Nearby, fine historic print shop tour (get your name/etc printed) Free parking two blocks each side of Queen St Affordable, delicious, healthy meals at Shaw Festival (get cobb salad, unmixed), dining indoors & out.

    Niagara-on-the-lake is a fabulous location.

    Niagara-on-the-lake is a fabulous location. So much to see, do and take in. From Fort George historic museum, to the Shaw Festival, to the beautiful flowered lined streets, the golf course bar view of NY across the river to wineries. We were there for 2 nights 3 days and really enjoyed every it of it. The restaurants like The Cannery at Pillar & Post (they have a beautiful garden across the street) to Tiara Restaurant at Queen’s Landing, food and service are excellent. Oh and if you can do High Tea at The Drawing room at The Prince of Wales hotel.

    Be prepared to eat well. So many excellent places to try!! Shopping is so relaxing and so many different types of shops..something for everyone. Strolling down the streets with beautiful homes and luscious flowers everywhere was breathtaking.

    This charming city is welcoming.

    This charming city is welcoming. We felt completely safe as we strolled the streets visiting the shops and dining in the local restaurants. Of course, dinner at the Prince of Wales was perfect. The park and many inviting benches made it easy to take a leisurely stroll even in the heat. The beauty of the flower boxes, hanging baskets, and flower beds were exceptional.

    It's a beautiful, and historic, small town with much to offer any traveler; proximity to Niagara Falls, proximity to Southern Ontario's wine country, interesting shopping and of course, The Shaw Festival. For the sailors, NOTL Yacht Club is also very nice.

    Breakfast, and a pre-breakfast brought to our room!, was fantastic - the best we had anywhere on our 3 week trip. Jen the chef was fabulous, thank you! Well catered for on the dairy-free front, thanks. Lovely room: bed was comfortable, nice bathroom too. Parking very handy, and free. Good location for driving to the Falls, and NOTL town centre is lovely (though a lot further than I thought).

    The Old Bank House is in a great location, just a stone's throw from the lake, and only a 2-3 minute walk from Queen Street. We enjoyed the breakfasts in the morning, particularly the French toast. Our room was nice and airy, with a comfortable bed. The real highlight, though, were the staff, who were fantastic and made us feel very welcome. A great choice for a few days in Niagara on the Lake.

    This property is an excellent place to stay. The hosts were very accommodating and the place is immaculate, clean, and in a great location. A continental breakfast is provided and there is a fridge that is available with snacks, water, and juice. Downtown Niagara on the Lake is a 10 minute walk away.
