The Shakespearean Garden was a flowering delight. The Sr. Lawrence Shakespearean Festival outdoor auditorium was a happy surprise. So I canceled other plans and stayed the night, taking in 12th Night. Met some friendly folk while I was having coffee at Katherine’s Tea Room. Breakfast opens to late for us in working days. The rooms are small unlike when we stay at a Hilton with larger rooms. This is by far not luxury, but at times if the price is right is doable. The location is right on the St. Lawrence River. The garden area leading to the deck area is lovely. We enjoyed sitting on the Muskoka chairs along the edge of the river.
