New ZealandEverything! This is the first time I literally can't come up with any negatives. We have travelled a lot in the last 10 years...a variety of accommodations ...and the Library Inn was outstanding. Allison has created that fine balance of comfort without feeling uncomfortable!! Little touches like using local soap, local jams, help yourself to tea and cookies, the piles of books around to read, the spaces in which to sit and relax.....all these little extra touches have created such a sense of 'home' and 'acceptance' in this Inn. She is a brilliant host.....we had some great discussions about books...and life in general.
We were sad to leave after our 3 days.

It was the perfect place for us to wait for the midnight...
It was the perfect place for us to wait for the midnight crossing of the CTMA ferry which left at 2am. We arrived around 7pm and had a great snooze till midnight - and it was a short 10 minute walk to the Ferry. The location was well situated and close to restaurants, pharmacy and groceries. Quite a distance from the airport and Charlottetown. Peaceful town with very friendly residents. One main street thru town had no stoplights:) Right on the coast so great views of the ocean. Walkable town. Many businesses close early so don't plan on a late dinner. There were two grocery stores where you could purchase ready to eat food if you eat later in the evening. The bed was comfortable and I was pleased that there was a heater as it was quite chilly the day I was there. The fridge and coffee maker in the room was a nice bonus. The location is great — it's right by the water. Only a 20 minute drive to the East Point Lighthouse, and try the Eastern Express Foodtruck that's nearby (scallop burger was awesome.)
