We found Twillingate winding down a bit in September, maybe prematurely as there were a lot of people there. It was a bit hard to find a place to eat. We tried two or three, recommend Great Auk Winery. Really enjoyed Long Point Lighthouse..

The spectacular scenery and the interesting houses and buildings are fabulous. We didn’t eat at a lot of restaurants mostly cooked and bar b q back at the air b&b. Getting around is very easy, we had our own vehicle If you plan on visiting make sure you go before Sept 1st. A lot of the attractions and places you would want to see and want to do are shut down after that or just not available. We doid manage to go out in boat for a ride and catch a few fish with Captain Dave. That was fabulous!!

Twillingate is a beautiful place to visit with beautiful coastal views, historic buildings, opportunity to see whales and birds, friendly people, hiking, ample places to dine and also close to other communities that offer the same. It's a favorite place to travel often.

We were in Twillingate the 2nd week of June 2025.

We were in Twillingate the 2nd week of June 2025. We booked the Ocean Quest Iceberg Tour and got what we paid for. 2 icebergs. It was exciting to watch them come into full view. It’s so cool to come so close to those giant chunks of ice and see the blue streaks and the aqua water around them. Did not see any whales but 1/2 bucket list items is fine. The Airbnb’s we booked were excellent in every way - comfort and scenery was amazing. We went to a shed party that was so much fun. Find yourself at one if you can.

Twillingate is one of the best places to visit if you like nature, hiking, scenery or sightseeing. It is easy to get around to explore the Rockcut Twillingate Trails. There are 13 fabulous trails to explore around the Island you should not missed. If you like photography, it is the best area to shoot photos. Amazing sceneries!

The deck is literally on the edge of the ocean - we sat out every night, enjoying the sound of the ocean and the stars in the sky. The cottage is very quaint, comfortable, and well stocked. The table was set for us on arrival, and the host is lovely! It is a few minutes drive to Twillingate, and also a few minutes drive from the lighthouse and trails on the North end of the island.

This place was amazing. What a beautiful home. We really enjoyed being able to cook our own meals and to have the laundry facilities available to us. Meeting some of the other guests was also a highlight. You never know who you will meet. We loved Twillingate. One of the best places we visited on our trip to NFLD. Would highly recommend it if ever travelling there.

This little gem was in the magical place of Twillingate. The house overlooked the water and had all the amenities needed. We appreciated having coffee and tea provided as well as laundry detergent. There is so much to see and do in Twillingate, and the people are just amazing! We would highly recommend this spot for anyone traveling this way!
