10/10 staff were amazing!! The pool and water slide kept us busy! Gym and sauna were a massive plus as well. The breakfast was delicious! As a whole this place was above and beyond all expectations!! Best place we had stayed while being in BC!!!! The lovely chef and front desk man were 10/10!!

Dee's place was really great, had all the amenities we needed and Dee was an excellent host and an equally good cook (loved the breakfasts!). If we're ever again in Valemount area, it will be for sure our go-to accomodation.

This suite was even better than the pictures represented. Every need was anticipated and met with high end products or utensils: there was even an ice cream scoop! We loved the sauna, and the patio firepit was perfect.

It is the best half way point from Edmonton to home in Hope.

It is the best half way point from Edmonton to home in Hope. I contemplated staying in other small towns along the way, but with the fifth time there in the last six months, it is the perfect stop along the way.

You can explore the Rockies, Monashees and Carboos all in...

You can explore the Rockies, Monashees and Carboos all in the same day. Less than an hours drive southwest and you can take a river safari at Blue River. Another hour or so gets you to Clearwater, the gateway to Wells Gray Provincial Park. Drive a half hour south and hang out on the shore of Kinbasket Lake. Northeast and you can be in Mount Robson Provincial Park and Jackmans Flats within 25 minutes. We’ve seen them all and will be back for more. Really enjoyed Friday night on 5th Ave!

Valemount has a fantastic visitor center and resources for...

Valemount has a fantastic visitor center and resources for travelers! We were there to hike the Mount Terry Fox trail, but we also enjoyed salmon viewing and wandering around a bit towards downtown. We found that it was hard to tell which restaurants were open and which weren't. I'm not certain if it's busier with sledding in the winter or with mountain biking in the summer, so I didn't get a real feel for what the town is all about - I would have to go back. I heard from one of our friends that was with us that the mountain biking was fantastic. We thought the Terry Fox trail was phenomenally well maintained and highly recommend it to experienced and fit hikers. Valemount is surrounded by natural beauty, which adds to the allure. I will definitely come back to explore more.

Valemount is a lovely little town, nice ammenities.

Valemount is a lovely little town, nice ammenities. Unfortunately several places we wanted to visit were out of business or permanently closed. We had our first oppotunity to dine at the Caribou Grill and it was amazing.

This was my second time in Valemount.

This was my second time in Valemount. I didn't walk around before but did this time. Just to downtown with the stores. It was very close to the Hotel and that was great. I only ordered a Pizza and it was a great surprise at how delicious it was. Next visit I will stay a day longer to get more of a feel of the beautiful tiny town.

I stop here on my way to Edmonton each year and always wish...

I stop here on my way to Edmonton each year and always wish I had time to stay for a couple of days to actually check out the activities. All I can say is that Three Ranges Brewing and Glacier Fire Pizza are the reason I choose this place as my half way point.

Best Western Valemount Inn is just off the highway and backs onto a nature reserve via a footpath. As usual the hotel is well appointed and clean. The room was spacious and very comfortable. We had drinks in the bar which also served light meals. Dinner in the restaurant was good in pleasant surroundings. The hot buffet breakfast in the morning was very good with eggs and bacon regularly replenished.

Good size room, great to have two doubles and a sofa bed. Comfortable. Liked the waffle maker at breakfast. Pool and slide were great. Only there for one night en route from Kamloops to icefields and as a location was excellent. Wasn't a huge amount of choice for food eating out locally Visitor centre for information was virtually next to the hotel.

THis was a clean, beautiful property with plenty of privacy. Valemount is just a few minutes' drive away for groceries and food needs. The hosts are pretty responsive and quick to fix anything that comes up! The rooms are large and the living room is a perfect hangout space - on one super rainy day all six of us had a lot of room to spread out.

This is an older motel, that has had a quick redo using the cheapest stuff they could get their hands on. No where near worth the price they are charging, but they have a captive market, as there are not many hotels in Valemont in the mid price range. Three nite stay, only because we had to stay that long.
