The main attraction is the Beach which is really impeccable.
The main attraction is the Beach which is really impeccable. So big that it is not crowded. The downside if that the main touristic area is in the process of being reconstructed so no more little shops and ambience by the beach. It will be like that for a couple of years. An area of the beach is dedicated to dogs. Parking is a bit expansive if you don't have lodging near by. There are not a whole lot of shops and restaurants but they are a few good ones for a week's stay.Guest review byPYCanada - 8.0

Our stay was just overnight during the off season so many of the night clubs and shops along the bench and that suited us since there were no crowds. We both have had surgery on our hips so walking was kept short. Walking to the bench we passed some garbage others have left but overall the bench was clean. We enjoyed watching the amazing red sunset from the lounge area. We wish later that we had brought a bottle of wine to watch the sunset. Stunning beach and water is shallow for a long way out from beach, and clear, great for children and non swimmers. Feels like your in the Caribbean, water changes colour all the time. Beach 1 is a party area, beach 2 - 6 are spectacular. Restaurant's are poor quality food and very expensive. I am sure there must be good ones but I never had a good meal anywhere, except Dee's pizza was fantastic but expensive. The Beach Area is amazing.
The Beach Area is amazing. We arrived to see a Beach volleyball tournament running that involving hundreds of competitors. The local shops and food in the area were great. good shopping and plenty of local dining establishments. Also, Wasaga beach is a well groomed beach area with lots of sand. Very narrow single lane driveway led to a make shift parking that was at best chaotic. The beds where way to low. The room looked like a seen out of a b rated horror film smelling heavily of tobacco and a busted door jam on the inside. The staff where friendly and led us to a sister resort that was relatively clean and had normal parking and clean outdoor environment.
