I liked the bubbly atmosphere of Kinshasa Les “KINOIS” are very helpful What I did not like was the endless TRAFFIC JAMS! Almost diabolical! I was in heaven while I was within my hotel and in hell when I decided to venture outside! I mean You cannot move easily. It took us 2hours to reach Kitambo From boulevard du 30 juin. I've been to the capitals of 179 countries. Kinshasa is the ugliest, dirtiest, most corrupt city I've ever visited. If you're a mzungu, you can count on rude treatment and people -- especially police and local officials -- to take advantage of you. Spend your time in Kigali, Kampala, Joburg, Capetown, Nairobi, Mombasa or Dar Es Salaam. Avoid Kinshasa at all costs.
