It was the perfect location with beautiful views in every direction. It was the perfect place to end our last 2 days in Switzerland. Staff was very friendly and personable. The morning we left, we needed to leave before the regular breakfast time, but the chef got up early to prepare a very nice breakfast. The room was large, well decorated, had a huge bathroom, and our own personal balcony! Avoid any hotel in or near the centre: the church bells ring...
Avoid any hotel in or near the centre: the church bells ring loudly every 15 minutes right through the night, so it's impossible to sleep well! The shops really cater for tourists, so although there are interesting products it's extremely pricey. The best is the hiking around Appenzell - lovely scenery.Guest review byhwellianSwitzerland
