The view from the room was absolutely spectacular, of the entire valley below and the mountains surrounding it, like something from a movie! The room is cute, cozy and clean, with a renovated and spotless clean bathroom. The breakfast buffet was good, and the staff (owner?) very nice. Hotel is located next to the gondola station so really convenient to arrive! Belalp is a wonderful location for hiking or even easy walks, with breathtaking views! Perfect visit, and i would love to visit again!

We went for hiking nearby, so we wanted a hotel that is comfortable but not fancy because we will only sleep there. The hotel was very clean, well maintained, and quiet, meeting all our need. Staffs are very friendly. Restaurant was great. Food are quite nice. They seem to specialize on cordon bleu because one third of the menu is dedicated to different variation of cordon bleu (made my partner very happy).

A great little ski resort with a fantastic selection of slopes. The runs are quite long considering the limited number of lifts, there are hardly any queues, and it feels very quiet. Spectacular views – it's definitely worth taking the drag lift all the way to the top!

A paradise for skiers.

A paradise for skiers. Hiking enthusiasts can also spend two or three days here in winter. A hiking trail descends from Belalp to Blatten, accessible from the Hotel Belalp, and is suitable for both winter and summer. For non-skiers, one night may be sufficient in winter. Breathtaking views await along the path leading from the cable car to the Hotel Belalp.

The walk from the cable car station along the panorama trail with amazing mountain views takes approximately 25-30 minutes. There are many walking and skiing trails available around. You can have dinner a la carte at the hotel (there are not many other options in the village). Peaceful and quiet. We had a double room in the attic with a tiny window and two comfortable beds joined. The bathroom was small, but clean. Your luggage can be delivered from the cable car to the hotel, if you book in advance.

We’re absolutely thrilled with this hotel. It’s a cozy, almost home-like place that offers complete comfort. The atmosphere is incredibly relaxing, and the views are some of the best we’ve ever seen. The jacuzzi and sauna are top-notch. The restaurant is not only reasonably priced but also delicious, with an amazing staff. This place is, without a doubt, my best discovery of the year — and I’ll definitely be coming back more than once.

The location was perfect - 50 meters from the lift. You can also walk around Belalp or to the Aletch gletcher. If you are lucky - the views will be stunning.
