Not worth the money to book accommodation for even a one night stay. Only cheap & tacky shops, lacks character & charm - very small (but there are so many lovely quaint towns in Switzerland!), & forgettable. This was my 3rd trip to Biel and one thing I really love...
This was my 3rd trip to Biel and one thing I really love about it is how easy it is to get around. We loved being able to walk to the train station. We took a day trip to Geneva to visit the United Nations and the train schedule was very convenient! For part of our stay we stayed at the Courtyard Marriott in city center and we ate dinner at Bluma. Bluma has an interesting concept which is Tapas from around the world, I highly recommend it if you aren't looking for large quantities but you want to have lots of different tastes. There is a bus stop directly outside the hotel which takes you to the main station in about ten minutes - it's also possible and straightforward to walk (but without luggage). A lift is provided. The hotel has lovely gardens but the comfort and facilities of the room itself are more important to me. The Swatch and Omega museums are about a five minute walk from the hotel and entry free - worth a visit.Guest review byOatesmAustralia

The communication with the landlord was clear and easy. The studio is big and cosy. The kitchen is well equipped and I really appreciated all the condiments and seasonings free to use (oil, vinegar, spices, tomato sauce, etc). My room overlooked General-Dufour-Str which was a little noisy from quite early. The breakfast was good and the staff frinedly over breakfast.
