It had a balcony overlooking Lake Thun. Although close to a train line, that was not an issue at all. The place was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was fully equipped, although we didn't use. It had a fridge. The bus nearby was easy to catch, although it only came every hour (bus No. 60), which you could take to Interlaken West/Ost and Spiez.

Perfect location to stay up to 4 people for visiting Grindelwald, Lauterbrunnen, Interlaken. Apartment has everything you need for great vacation- all kitchen and bath utensils, nice balcony for breakfast. Swimming pool on territory, 2 minutes walk lake Thune with private beach. We had a fantastic stay! Such a beautiful little place, right on the water with fantastic outdoor and indoor commonspaces. Our room was great, clean and comfortable. Staff were so nice and went out of their way to make our stay pleasant. Breakfast was delicious

    Nice view of the lake but definately do not book this hotel...

    Nice view of the lake but definately do not book this hotel it was not a good place , most rooms derelict, carpet’s threadbare on the stairs , lifts not working , notices taped to the doors of most rooms that looked as though they had been condemned.

    I've noticed that the property is a bit far from the city of...

    I've noticed that the property is a bit far from the city of Interlaken, so you would need to take the bus every time. However, the transportation is reliable. The room itself is nice, with a small balcony, but the shower handle in the bathroom needs some repair. The common kitchen area is located in the concourse, but I couldn't find tap water there, so I had to carry bottled water for making coffee or tea. It would be great if there were some plates, bowls, or coffee mugs available. Also, the glasses were not properly cleaned, so I believe there is room for improvement in the kitchen. Overall it is a nice place to stay. Bus fare is 4CHF per person from Interlaken Ost/West to Därligen Dorf (Bus Stop)

    Darligen Is a good location to use as a base for exploring...

    Darligen Is a good location to use as a base for exploring the region. But the town is a little lifeless and past its best years. The Water front by the lake is great for lake swimming and has scenic views, but there is a lack of facilities.

    Very good location and a short drive to the place where we want to visit. The apartment is very clean and have enough amenities to enjoy. Good view front and back and very cosy apartment. I could not fault anything apart from I wish there should have 2 toilets. Tom is very kind and helpful and always happy to help. He even gave us some tip on how to save some money. I will definitely recommend this place and we had an excellent stay at the apartment.👍

    There is nothing to be done in the town.

    There is nothing to be done in the town. Not a single bakery. there is a small entry to the lake you can share with 40 other people. Everything else is private and you cannot access it. There is only private parking or the ones you pay by hour.

    The view is amazing.

    The view is amazing. It is a 20mins bus ride to Interlaken train station which is very convenient. We stayed in Darligen for 3 nights as a based for us to travelled to Interlaken, lseltwald, Lauterbrunnen and head back to Basel airport. This is one of the cheapest area to stay in Interlaken radius. The area is quiet and scenic. Please respect the villagers by not making noises in the middle of the night.
