Having never tried Romansh/ Grisons food before, dinner here was definitely the highlight. Local ingredients and unique dishes were excellent, and the owner personally checked-up on me. Seeing how much I enjoyed the local cuisine, she even brought me an extra local appetizer for free. The room was clean and comfortable, with a small staircase up to the bathroom. The overall feeling is quite homely and friendly, and within very short walking distance from Disentis' famous abbey.

We were 9, two families with small and teens (4rooms). The staff was superb. Accommodating our wishes beyond the usual. Getting for my daughter a toothbrush from a shop, serving capuns for breakfast for us to try them, late check out, they actually wash our cars while we were having breakfast! The hotel was what we expected from the online photos and it is like that. It was clean and comfortable. Beds were great. Location is ideal for trekking, skiing and being in contact with nature. A bit further from village but crossing trekking paths. A bus is very close by. We loved our stay and we thank the hotel for their kindness.

We stayed for one night at the hostel, there are hotels available but the hostel was enough practical and sufficient for us, family of 4 for one night. I wish we could stay longer as we loved it, everything exceeded our expectations and more. The views are stunning, the whole area is well organised with plenty to do. Would recommend to all our friends.T Here is a visitor pass available which covers a gondola, ski lifts and trains, a great value for your money. On the top of mountain are activities available from tobogan to swim in a lake to mountain biking, paragliding to hiking.

Lovely, historic town with a range of facilities

Lovely, historic town with a range of facilities The area was new to us but offered an unusual range of alpine experiences: Up the cablecars of the region for high mountain landscapes (The Guest Card issued by the apartment owner on behalf of the town was great value, giving free unlimited rides on the cable cars); Walks from nearby villages through lovely green meadows (And the occasional walkers suspension bridge); Trips into side valleys for wilder country and real mountain peace; Just over the Lucomagno Pass into Ticino for some of the loveliest of alpine meadows; and down river to the grandeur of the Rhein-Schlucht (Gorge)

The monastery is definitely worth a visit.

The monastery is definitely worth a visit. The town center with the train station is also very picturesque. There are several good restaurants there. The new suspension bridge is also a must-see for every visitor.

We went skiing in Disentis.

We went skiing in Disentis. The ski area is large (together with Sedrun and Andermatt), there was plenty of snow despite the previous very warm week, the slopes are well-groomed, and there are also opportunities for off-piste skiing. I can't really comment on Disentis as a town, but it has everything you need for daily life.

Disentis is a charming village in the heart of the Alps, with the Oberalp Pass on one side, providing access to Uri and then on to Ticino or Italy, and the Lukmanier Pass on the other, also leading to Ticino and Italy. The village boasts restaurants with good value for money and friendly staff.

Beautiful architecture, access to mountain trails by cable car. Various sporting activities are available (paragliding, hiking, cycling, and motorcycling). Visits to the historic monastery are also possible. Train access is also available.

Hotel Pazzola is a hidden gem and an excellent place to relax and wind down! The hotel is located in a quiet part of Disentis, full in the nature. The real discovery was however, the restaurant! Fully local ingredients, combined in an original way by the master cook, Sven. It is a place to feel home, especially thank to the open-hearted welcome by the host, Sonia. If you are out to explore the haut cuisine in Graubunden, this place is a must for you!

What a beautiful location. Often accommodations claim to have a view and the view is of a brick wall or the bin collection area. This place has a view! I didn't use the pool but it looked good. The room was a decent size and was very comfortable.

Part of a larger holiday complex with good facilities. The room was spacious and clean with comfortable beds. Underground parking at no extra cost. There is a coop and restaurant on site with wider options available in Disentis nearby.
