The property location was breath taking! Walking up to beautiful views for my girlfriend’s 30th birthday. Bastian the host was exceptional throughout this booking getting back to any of my enquiries and even set up a surprise balloon decoration and bottle of bubbly on arrival. Couldn’t recommend enough!

Brand new rooms, high quality furnishings, comfy bed with very nice bed sheets. 5 minute walk to the Hannigalp ski lift. Well insulated so the noise from the bars in the area did not bother us.

Cozy place with beautiful panorama on Alps. Room was clean and super comfortable. Breakfast was full of tasty local products ( especially regional cheeses- La gruyere and Raclette or milky yogurt ). Hotel provides also restaurant with local cusine and home made wine ( my favourite - Pinot Noir ). The area around has a lot to offer - my choice was to see Matterhorn from Zermatt. I strongly recommend the hotel.

    Fab views – BUT Embd brands itself as the 'Steepest Village in Europe' – which means that the car access road is steep and narrow (not for the faint-hearted), and the village itself if not the most suitable for mobility-impaired visitors (steep pedestrian alleys with paving stones). Other access is by mini cable-car (narrow 2-person cabins).
