If anyone ever gets the idea to design a “self check-in” hotel, they should take a look at this one—everything here just worked perfectly. I stay in hotels frequently, but this one truly impressed me. It was all in the details. The best towels I’ve had in ages. A fantastic breakfast. And a hardworking, kind soul who greeted me with a smile at seven in the morning. Absolutely wonderful. I’ll definitely be staying at this hotel on my future trips to and from Spain.

The hotel is located in a mostly quiet residential village abut 40 minutes from the Zurich airport. Generally the area is very quiet except when there is a business party down at the local pub. At exactly ten O'clock PM, that party closed down and all was quiet again. The dinner we had at the restaurant was superb. The menu was mostly traditional Swiss fare, good wine and the included breakfast, traditional again, lots of choices and the restaurant was immaculate as was the room.
