The woman who owns this property is so sweet and helpful. She did our smelly backpacking laundry for us for 10 euros. I enjoyed talking with her for a little bit. The rooms are big, great Wi-Fi, great bathroom, nice balcony space. There is so much character and charm in this hotel. The dogs that live there are sweet!

Host Doris is very kind. The accommodation is beautiful, stylish, clean—everything feels like new and is equipped exactly as you need. The kitchen has all the essential utensils and basic food items—tea, spices, oil—so you don’t have to buy them if you want to cook. We truly felt comfortable, just like at home.     Beautiful town, stunning location , easy to get to , regular bus service, mountains , river walks , breathtaking flowers , friendly people. For me a perfect place and everything you could want for a well kept rural town with amenities in a low key non showy way .

    My aim was to escape the city rate race, so I decided to visit, hike & take photos of the Lac Blue & the charming village of Evolène & Dent Blanche. Which was a worthwhile idea to mentally relax, listen to my self and enjoy the silence of my solitude. A couple of pints with a wood oven Pizza from the restaurant downstairs were the highlight of my Saturday evening after a shattered hike. Driving to Evolène was easy & straight forward, all I had to do was to click on booking location link which took me right away to Google map then I listened to GPS instructions where I found myself at the door step after the exact suggested GPS travel time. It couldn't be easier. Two things I have regretted, 1) to stay longer than 2 days & 2) to get my self Nordic stick when it comes mountain hiking & tricking.

    Having breakfast on the sun drenched balcony; thendecoration that made me feel I was in a home rather than a holiday rental (wishing I read German to enjoy the great selection of books); the food basics that were available (great selection of herbs and teas); the cost with great music; the board games and puzzles. Evolene, so beautiful, with walkable small foods hops and restaurants, and free bus to the ski slopes.

    We had a lovely cosy 2 night stay. The apartment is right in the centre of the old village, close to everything in Evolene. The apartment was clean, comfortable, well equipped and had everything we needed. Our hosts were great and all the instructions were clear and timely. They even posted something to our home which had we left behind.

    A perfect choice in Evolene. The room is simple but comfortable and the location is great!! Breakfast was very good and the best part of the whole stay was the service I received from the staff. They were all very kind and concerned with making you feel good and welcomed.
