Beds and pillows were super comfy! We took the train to Spiez and were going to take the bus to Faulensee but glad we decided to walk as the walk along the lake was stunning and didn’t take long.

Excellent location, 2 min walk from the lake, stunning mountain views. Well furnished apartment with all modern amenities including free parking. Vlog supermarket and few restaurants at stone's throw distance... Very supportive and friendly hosts. I would definitely come back here and would recommend this place to all my friends. This is a dream apartment for me and my family. Everything this is perfect and properly arranged by the owner. My family was very happy with the arrangement and all the facilities they provided. The location was perfect and surrounded area was awesome. The backyard are is just too good for walking and natural beauty. There are the mountains infront with fascinating view. There are two bedroom with good quality bed and beat for sleeping. All are equipped with latest furniture. The kitchen was great and spacious with all the utensils for cooking. Everything is clean. The bathroom is separate and WC is separate. The bathroom area are very big and it feel like heaven. I am very happy to stay here and looking forward to visit again and stay for longer period. Thanks the owner who arrange everything for us. See you soon

Everything. We travel a lot and have travelled around Europe but this hotel was above and beyond any place we have stayed so far. The creativity of the design, definitely is something to look forward to. rooms are super clean, the hotel management is super generous with providing almost any snack you might crave and refilling it free of charge. The view is breath taking. The breakfast was such a smart idea to be served in picnic baskets behind the door. We Loved Everything and looking forward to go back.

The location is amazing. The fact that we had the panorama pass for free bus rides was perfect for the location. Being able to start the day with hot breakfast and a glass of Prosecco was wonderful. The staff were all very kind and helpful. Overall, we had a great stay at a great hotel.

Excellent and beautiful hotel, spacious rooms with a comfortable bed. We were given a free taxi from the train station - the train station is a 10-minute walk along a pleasant road. Quiet and cozy, good soundproofing. There is a balcony. The room has coffee capsules, tea and bottled water. The staff is very friendly. In the evenings, you can order dinner and a cocktail at the bar. Excellent spa and several saunas with a salt room and a relaxation room, with tea and coffee, dried fruits and juice. When it rains, it is very pleasant to warm up in the hot pool. We went to the sauna without bathing suits - we wrapped ourselves in a towel. A towel is on each floor in the spa area. We ordered an excellent massage - you need to book in advance because there are not always places. Delicious breakfasts with panoramic views of the beautiful city and mountains. In the mornings there is champagne, delicious coffee, scrambled eggs, croissants, different types of cheese and much more. The train station is a 10-minute walk along a pleasant road.

We liked the friendliness of the hosts, the bathroom, well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and rural atmosphere. We ate at several of the nearby restaurants with lakeside dining. We did not have a car but it was easy to get to the location by bus #60 from the Spiez train station. All in all it was a great place to stay and would recommend it to other travelers.

Very pretty place but not much to do apart from a few...

Very pretty place but not much to do apart from a few restaurants and a Church. Good if you want somewhere slightly out of nearby Spiez, which is easily accessible or as an effective overnight stop when hiking. Probably not so much to recommend it as a destination per se.

It's a small village with a bus service.

It's a small village with a bus service. Excellent opportunities for hiking, especially along Lake Thun to Spiez, and for day trips. Restaurant Hecht is recommended, about a 200-meter walk away.

We didn't visit Faulensee.

We didn't visit Faulensee. We did visit Interlaken, Grindelwald, and Meiringen. The location was perfect for us. A swimming spot was a 1-minute drive or a good 10-minute walk away. We had immediate access to the motorway by car, and all the sights of the Bernese Oberland were reachable in under an hour.

Faulensee is a manageable holiday destination with many oases for relaxation. Whether for hiking, relaxing, lounging, swimming, enjoying the scenery, or all of the above. A highly recommended holiday resort with fine restaurants and excellent hotels.

Everything! This is such a comfortable, well set-up property with lovely welcoming hosts in Margret and Christian that you won't want to leave. Faulensee is a small village outside Spiez so getting anywhere else by public transport does need a bit of planning... but it is ALL possible and not difficult to do: Bern, Interlaken, Lauterbrunnen, Grindelwald, Jungfraujoch are very manageable day trips. Plus there is the whole of Thunersee to explore. Oh, and there are chickens.

Everything was perfect, the hotel is by the lake, from the room we had beautiful views. The bus station is in front, and Interlaken and Spiez is very easily accessible by it. The breakfast is amazing. The staff were very helpful and kind, especially Oliver, he helped us a lot, recommended beautiful places to visit, and answered every question we had.
