Everything was great, from the reception to the breakfast. Clean, comfortable and convenient. The bath products were nice, shower pressure good and we had an excellent sleep in the silent room, excellent bed.

The hotel is located just a few minutes' walk from the train station and a tram stop that takes you close to the old city. The room looked even better than in the pictures. It was perfectly clean, warm, and the towels were changed daily. The main building has a nice sit-in area with plenty of games to enjoy with friends. Downstairs, there’s a pool table, darts, and table football. We spent a lot of time playing pool and having fun. The staff was extremely polite, helpful, and informative. We had a small issue in our room, but it was fixed right away after contacting reception. Highly recommend staying here!

Wonderful service, great food, lovely decorated rooms and bathrooms -- and extremely accomodating management. I had made a booking mistake, booked one night too early. Hotel manager greenlighted applying the payment to our actual stay instead of charging us more. We're very pleased and will be glad to return to this place.

The arrival to the hotel was surprising, as it was a small road used by public for access to walking tracks and visitors to the hotel. It was a lovely sight to see the hotel at the end of the road, and the area was very nice to experience, so close to the city but surrounded by forest. The check-in process was easy, and the staff were very welcoming and helpful with all queries. They even pointed us to the best way to travel into Basel with public transport. The room was well appointed, evidently newly refurbished and everything was extremely clean and well maintained. The old glass windows was a lovely touch of charm, as were the short stories on the bed, which was a lovely little surprise. The following morning breakfast was well laid out, a simple affair with a diverse choice of bread, pastries, cereal, fruit and with eggs and coffee to order, there was nothing more that was required.

We rested in this hotel after a long day city-walking in Basel. I made a good choice to select this hotel. Good for money! I highly recommend the resturant in the hotel. Its the best of the best!
