Beautiful place with stunning views. Very nice large rooms. Very very good restaurant with a very very kind staff who couldn’t do enough for you. On top of that, a lovely breakfast. Highly recommend.

The staff and the owner herself of a place were amicable, responsive and lovely at all! The hotel was freshly furnitured with all commodities. Breakfast was modest but full of local-made products - fresh baked bread from neighbouring bakery and dairy products from local farmer.

Wonderful hosts, they showed us their farms, hens & garden! A great place to stay & relax, especially if you like living in the countryside and enjoy nature. The breakfast was simple & very good! Some of the live maps may show that the Schachen LU train station is about 23 mins walk, but the house is only about 10 to 11 minutes walk. So it is quite accessible from Lucerne by public transport as well.
