I travelled for work and only stayed one night. Mistakenly i booked the wrong date however the staff was excellent and corrected my booking immediately. All staff was friendly and helpful, the room was fantastic you are immersed in luxury from the moment you walk inside. Breakfast was fantastic with enough choice and high quality food. When leaving we received a small gift bag with water and chocolate. The location is perfect, everything is within walking distance and when leaving the hotel you are immediately in the beautiful city centre. Definitely visiting again!

Great location. Beautiful surroundings and view. Staff was great. Restaurant onsite is good but pricey. In general on our trip trough Switzerland the dinners were not memorable and cost significantly more than New York City.

Stop looking for other hotels in Lucerne. This is the hotel you want to stay in! The staff of Hotel Beau Sejour are excellent! They are so friendly and helpful. They were also really flexible when we asked if we could leave the car in the car park a little later than check out time, so we had a little more time to explore Lucerne before our departure. The room had the view of the lake and the mountains and we really liked the interior design of our room and the lobby of the hotel. The breakfast was perfect. We had the options of lots of Swiss cheeses and breads and many more breakfast options... We also loved it that they themselves made the coffees (lovely cappuccinos) and teas for all the guests, instead of using a coffee machine yourself in the breakfast room. It is not necessary, but it adds a luxurious touch to the breakfast! We only stayed one night in Lucerne, but we will come back to the city and defenitely book this hotel again!

this is not a 5-star hotel and, obviously, should not be compared in that way. having said that, it is really an excellent hotel. we will recommend it to our friends. the staff is nice, the breakfast is great = best we had for a long time - staying in many hotels around the world in the last 6 months. the location is excellent - easy to reach any important spot in luzern by just walking. we never used a car, not even a bus - just walking

    We were travelling by car, and wanted to be somewhere near...

    We were travelling by car, and wanted to be somewhere near Lucerne where we planned to have supper. Huobschur is in the most beautiful setting. Natural paradise with clean air, exquisite views, beautiful bird sound, delightful donkeys and goats. And an extremely gracious, kind and accommodating host and his small team. A total refreshment for our tired travelling spirits! We loved the wooden cabin, simply and beautifully furnished with wooden furniture. Beautiful spacious room, very comfortable bed and great shower. The breakfast was exceptional with homemade bread, delicious locally produced fruit yoghurt and muesli, delicious meat and cheese and lovely fresh fruit. All great value for money. What a gem! Sadly, we only had one night there. We will return as soon as we can. ❤️
