This city is a short distance from Lucerne. There are frequent trains that go to Lucerne and further into Unterwalden. The main attraction in Hergiswill is the glass works and its museum and restaurant. There is a boat that stops there. The hotel staff were very friendly and welcoming. The spa facilities were great. We had no issue with car parking. We had dinner and breakfast at the restaurant. The food was delicious and the waiting staff were very attentive. My room is 237 which is the same as advertised, but another room 235 is much smaller, the view is not that good, no sofa. The room 235 does not meet our expection, but it is charged at the same price. I can say it's unfair to us. The lunch and dinner at the hotel restuarant are superb.
