This is like a dream place. An experience you would hardly forget! The location is dreamy, my room was facing the hills with cowbells ringing all day. Breakfast are exquisite, whatever you like will be served within a minute. Service everywhere in the resort is amazing, stuff is the friendliest and the most entertaining for the ones who travel alone too. You can enjoy several different restaurants with great cuisine and views. Spa in the Waldhotel is perfect, clean and quiet, not many visitors during a low season (i was basically alone there all the time). You can also enjoy some attractions around or visit Luzern by boat fastly.

Spectacular stay - one of the most magical places I've ever stayed overnight. During my visit, we awoke above the clouds to watch the sunrise, and the experience is simply stunning. The room was perfect - comfortable, clean and more tastefully decorated than other mountaintop hotels I visited in Switzerland. Since all food has to be shipped up to the hotel, the quality of dinner far exceeded my expectations and the dining room is beautiful and classic. Staff agreed to an early check-out to allow me to descend on the first funicular run, which I appreciated.

It was nice to be out of the city.

It was nice to be out of the city. It was a very easy and short bus trip up the mountain right on Lake Lucerne. We wish we had brought swimsuits. Lake Lucerne is so clean and beautiful. A perfect place to relax after a long day of sight-seeing.

What a lovely hotel this was, very friendly & helpful staff members, room was very clean & comfortable. Excellent shower, amazing views from our room & 1st class breakfast.. location is in a quiet village just a bus ride away from the main tourist areas. Buses are frequent & free with the tourist ticket supplied by the hotel Highly Recommend This Hotel

We had a great stay. We were looking to have easy nature access and this hotel was perfectly located. We had a long walk near the lake and the landscapes were super nice. A bus stop is just in front, so you can reach town in 20 minutes. The hotel also has a restaurant but there's also a small city center 15minutes away. Everything went super smoothly.

Lovely staff. Loads of car parking just across from hotel. There was a bus stop right beside hotel that brought you into centre of lucern. It was free with visitor pass. Lovely selection of food for breakfast.

Really great place to stay, our stay in Felmis in July 2025. Staff are really nice, breakfast was super. Reserved electric car charging station was really appreciated. I'd definitely go there again.
