The Guesthouse zum Turm is in a great position to reach Andermatt in a few minutes by Bus (which is free of charge). The bus stop is located a few steps away from the guesthouse's door! The owners are super friendly, the breakfast was more than enough with cheese and salami, Nutella, nuts, dried fruits, yogurt and bread! The room was pretty small but it had everything one needs! The Guesthouse was in general extremely clean and well kept! Maybe the walls are a bit too thin and one can hear easily! I am very sensitive to that, but I must say, I was there for three nights and I've heard nothing from neighbors rooms!

This property boasts a real swiss atmosphere, from the cozy rooms to the excellent dining experience, you’re guaranteed to have a memorable experience. The staff in the hotel and restaurant are some of the most hospitable individuals I’ve had the pleasure to meet on my travels in Switzerland and they made sure my stay was both comfortable and stress free. If you have not planned to do so, I can wholeheartedly recommend having lunch in their restaurant - they serve some very tasty dishes from reasonable prices, I can assure you they will have you full and ready to hit the slopes, or the party if you’re like me. I plan to stay again sometime in the future and would be happy recommend to any of my friends.

I really enjoyed communicating with the host; the instructions were given on time and were clear, and she was flexible regarding the check-out time. I also liked the location of the apartment; it's very convenient if you want to visit Göscheneralpsee. However, we didn't venture to some of the other attractions because the journey would have taken too long. We also visited the area during Halloween and were very pleasantly surprised by the care shown towards children and the generosity of the locals.

The hospitality was second to none, 5 of us turned up on...

The hospitality was second to none, 5 of us turned up on motorbikes after only booking a couple of hours earlier. The hosts went out of their way to cook us a home cooked meal even though it really should have been reserved earlier, as there was nowhere else open, there was also an honesty bar. The room was cramped, 6 mattresses in a row, and basic but it was all we needed after a hard days riding. Then it was topped off in the morning with an included continental breakfast, that was great. Couldn't recommend this place enough.

Fantastic experience: 10 out of 10! Everything was perfect: the atmosphere, the facilities, and the people. I felt very comfortable from the first moment. It's a place that invites you to relax, connect with others, and enjoy your trip. I would definitely recommend it and would gladly return. Thank you for a perfect stay!

A quiet spot, slightly elevated above the valley, with wonderful mountain and panoramic views. Since there are no shops on site, it's a good idea to plan accordingly. However, there are also several restaurants for meals.

The atmosphere was pleasant.

The atmosphere was pleasant. The accommodation has a somewhat nostalgic feel. Simple but clean, like most youth hostels used to be – a little less comfortable, but cheaper. Arrival time was very flexible.

The warm welcome and friendliness of the host The dinner was very good (salad, rice and goulash), and breakfast also great Hospental is 40min walk (beautiful) from Andermatt so perfect if you have some time.

Very Homey feel with great kitchen access and one of the nicest hostels we’ve stayed in. The staff were so lovely and we even partook in the NYE sled down the Main Street of hospental!
