We stayed here only for the one night but it was amazing experience. The owner of this hotel is very nice and friendly, the view on the mountains is gorgeous and the diner was so big that I’ve barely finished my dish. The hotel itself looks like it had renovations pretty recently (no mold in the bathroom or any kind of dirt on the walls etc.) Our room was super clean and cozy. Wonderful.

The location is amazing and the staff and service was impeccable. Ski on and Ski off was so easy. For a small fee the hotel can bring you and/or your luggage from the cable car to the hotel by snow mobile which the kids really loved. Breakfast in the morning and dinner in the evening at the hotel was just perfect. We can't wait to go back again. My little son said it was the best weekend package and skiing he has had.

We very much have enjoyed the stay! We had not only a spectacular view from our room, we also had an exceptionally good dinner and lunch in the restaurant! Special shouts for Maria, the super kind receptionist, who woke up in the 3 AM (the receptionist closed in evening), because we arrived super late. Long narrow drive up to Isenthal, not for the faint hearted. Basic accommodation with friendly staff and excellent location with mountain views. If you don't like pork your out of luck as the restaurant only served various tasty dishes of pork.

Its a nice village in the swiss mountains.

Its a nice village in the swiss mountains. The drive up the mountain is an experience on its own (check the times the bus drives up the mountain on the signs before you drive up the road. We had to drive backwards up the mountain for half a km.) There isnt much to do in the village itself, but the surroundings are beautiful.

Isenthal is a valley centrally located in Switzerland, yet it remains relatively unknown even to most German-speaking Swiss. It offers beautiful hikes of varying difficulty, either on foot or by bike. Here, you're guaranteed to be far removed from the hustle and bustle and the usual crowds of the lowlands!

It's breathtakingly beautiful.

It's breathtakingly beautiful. Nestled among the mountains, where time has stood still. PEACE! There's only one steep road up the mountain—and therefore only one, identical road down. So unless you drive specifically to Isenthal, you'll never reach it. Almost a secret place that few know about. PEACE!! Beautiful.

Everything is just perfect. House is wonderful and clean. You got everything u need to cook perfect meals for your family. Owner soooo generous and kind. And the place itself, Isenthal Village is the charm and amazingly beautiful. We hike, see and touch the river and picnic in the most beautiful lake. We will definitely visit again.

Spectacular views, surrounded by beautiful Swiss mountains, some green, some snowy-white (we visited in April). The food in the restaurant is great. The hotel has the vibe of a typical Swiss hotel in the Swiss mountains. The owner is very kind. The rooms are simple but good. The single room actually had a double bed.

The accommodation, location and host were absolutely fabulous, Isenthal is such an amazing place to visit and stay and I would highly recommend. The road up to the village is fine as long as you take note of the bus times which are posted at the bottom and top of the climb.

The hotel is a traditional Swiss chalet in a pretty mountain village, ideal for our overnight stay on the way to the Italian Lakes. The host, Rudi, played his accordion and served us traditional Swiss mountain fare. A very enjoyable stay, despite our limited German!
