Kloten is very central to many things, bus ride takes about 8-10 minutes to the airport, and with the train S7 about 15 minutes into the main station in Zurich with many onward connections. Kloten is also a great place to start walks in many directions. There are also 2 well stocked supermarkets (Coop and Migros) in the city center.

This stay was disappointing because of room issues.

This stay was disappointing because of room issues. When one arrives after a long overseas flight, I expect and need nice accommodations. This time the Radisson disappointed. Room was small, drapery was drooping, trash in bathroom from previous guest and clean but shabby duvet cover. I would not complain but this room was supposed to have been an upgraded purchase by me then the hotel supposedly upgraded my upgrade. Not an upgrade in any way. Very disappointed.

We truly enjoyed our time in Kloten.

We truly enjoyed our time in Kloten. The area is peaceful, safe, and well-organized, making it an excellent place to stay with family. Everything we needed was close by, and getting around was simple and convenient. The hospitality we experienced made our stay even more enjoyable, and we would gladly come back again.

There is nothing special about Kloten.

There is nothing special about Kloten. It's just an outer suburb of Zurich. I chose it because I had a 7.15am international flight from Zurich airport and the first bus from Kloten to the airport left at 5.20am and only took 7 minutes. There are also regular trains to/from Zurich HB which take only 16 minutes.

My review of Kloten ?? I am European but live in Bangkok for the time being. After a 12 hour flight from Bangkok to Zurich with a late evening arrival I need a hotel one night stay over for my flight further on the next day. Thus I know Kloten just from the air by landing and take off

This is a perfect place to stay if you are arriving late or...

This is a perfect place to stay if you are arriving late or leaving early. Very close to the airport and a bus gets you there in 3 stops, or a 15 Swiss Franc taxi ride. Not a place you want to hang out, but a perfectly fine place to sleep and shower.

Loved the convenience of staying overnight at Zurich airport to catch our flight the following day rather than travelling from Lausanne for a flight the same day. Location close to Zurich city center was a big plus, perfect for enjoying a lovely dinner in the city.

Excellent for an overnight stay if flying in/out of Zurich airport. Convenient to get to by bus from the airport with comfortable and spacious rooms. Bus was easy to find and drops off right outside the hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Prefect hotel when in transit at Zurich airport. Great location only 4-5 minutes from the terminal and a quality hotel - staff were friendly and helpful. We were also upgraded to a larger, more comfortable room, with good sized bathroom.
