We were upgraded to a lovely room on the top floor with a balcony. We'd booked half board, and the dinners were excellent, as was the selection at breakfast. Two staff in particular deserve a special mention for their friendliness and good service, Lucas on the front desk, and Sofia in the dining room.

Tschiertschen is a magical place, and Alpina Resort is the place to stay if anyone wants to explore this area. The hotel is strategically located, offers stunning views of the village, and provides skiers and snowboarders with the ski to door option. The quality of the hotel's restaurant is very high while the service of Dimitar and the rest of the staff was exceptional, something that was highly appreciated as we stayed there during the busy Christmas period. All very friendly and always helpful. Very highly recommended. We are definitely going back to this one.

A professionally run small hotel oozing genuine alpine charm. We enjoyed our stay immensely. The highlights were the help we received with booking our ski lift passes online during check in as well as the advice provided regarding ski rental. The hotel is ski in/ski out; 30 meters of walking up a small road takes you to a blue piste to the Hörnli Express opening up the entire Arosa/Lenzerheide domain. Return via the same blue piste at the end of the day.

Its prime location, directly opposite the train station, makes exploring the city effortless, with easy access to transportation, including the hotel’s complimentary shuttle service throughout the day. The culinary experience was equally delightful, as we relished breakfast and lunch at the hotel’s restaurant, under the direction of a new Italian chef. If you're looking for peace and quiet yet close to a well-known winter sports resort, this is the place for you. There are great hiking trails (summer and winter), shops, a tourist information office, and a hairdresser. Younger people might be better off going directly to Arosa.

If you want to go skiing in the Arosa ski area, the train...

If you want to go skiing in the Arosa ski area, the train connection from Langwies is ideal; the final stop is right next to the Weishorn valley station after about a 15-minute train ride. But you can also travel in the other direction to Chur by train in a short and very relaxed way, and enjoy a pleasant stroll through the city.

If you want to feel truly comfortable in a smaller hotel during your holiday, then you should definitely travel to Langwies (near Arosa) and enjoy your days at the exceptionally friendly, top-run "Gasthaus Edelweiss"!

A very pretty, typical, and very quiet village. Easily accessible by train from Chur. The Hotel-Restaurant Gasthaus Edelweiss is highly recommended! Its location, comfort, and local cuisine are all excellent. The welcome was exceptional!

What a great service and hospitality. Very clean en spacious rooms. Excellent breakfast. Great location with parking and near a train station. Skiing & snowshoeiing possibilities in winter. Cycling and hiking in summer. I have stayed in many guest houses and hotels before, but I must admit that this place is on top of my list.

Traditional gasthouse. super clean and well kept small hotel high up in a small village. If you don't like high places - this is not for you. Dog frendly. Rooms are direct from the 80's but in a positive retro way. Super nice staff. Good breakfast.

Nice little hotel a bit off the beaten track. Views from the rear of the property were stunning with a nice big terrace to enjoy them. Food good staff very friendly would definitely recommend.
