Awesome location, great size room and nice to get a balcony to see the gorgeous view. Breakfast was pretty good (Nutella on tap!!) but the thing that impressed me the most was the staff. The manager Roger was very responsive when we had a delayed train and thought we couldn't make the check in time. When we arrived with two minutes to spare, he still took the time to tell us about where to explore in Interlaken and even highlighting a map for us. What a gem!

Fantastic views, fantastic staff, went out of their way to make sure we were happy and comfortable. Sara was a gem. She picked us up from the cable car, and I really didn't think the car would make it up to the mountain with us all on board, but she drove like a pro. I can't give any more praise for the place. Stylish and well considered contemporary design in a well appointed hotel. The staff are young but knowledgeable (one of the owners is a sommelier and regaled us with fabulous local Swiss wines) The food is just superb- breakfasts had a good variety of cold meats, cheeses, cereals, Swiss yoghurts and bircher, breads and croissants etc or cooked to order. Dinner was superb- we tried the 3 course tasting menu which was sublime. If we could have afforded it we would have eaten there every night! Location was ideal just out of the main village of Grindelwald, so quieter, yet only a five minute stroll into the centre- plus the buses stop right outside. The best views of the glacier and the Eiger and Wetterhorn opposite!- absolutely stunning views!! We loved it very much!
