Everything was perfect, especially the pool with its amazing view and the self-service breakfast. 🏊‍♂️☕️ For future guests, this might be helpful: The breakfast we had included boiled eggs, chicken cold cuts, and salami. There was also hot and cold milk, coffee, jam, honey, butter, and more. A great way to start the day!

Suitable accommodation.

Suitable accommodation. In the bathroom there is a washing machine and dryer, plenty of towels. Spacious open bedroom with two double beds. Another separate room. Equipped kitchen (we were only missing the classic larger tea mugs, only coffee mugs were available). Near the train station, center. About 100 m from the destination there is an excellent restaurant Alpenrose.

Maienfeld is a lovely little village, a good starting point...

Maienfeld is a lovely little village, a good starting point for hiking or walking, but unfortunately it's not very centrally located and doesn't have direct access to a mountain railway. It's an ideal place to stay overnight if you're working in Landquart or the surrounding area.

I had no idea that Maienfeld was the home of "Heidi," but it...

I had no idea that Maienfeld was the home of "Heidi," but it was a pleasant surprise. A visit to the Heidi Village is recommended; there isn't much to see in the village itself, but it's nice to look around. Otherwise, the surrounding area offers many hiking trails.

Absolutely stunning, just like in the movies.

Absolutely stunning, just like in the movies. Everything is compact; you can take a short stroll or hike as high as you like. I spontaneously hiked 14 km that day. There's architecture and nature to admire – both breathtaking. And for tired legs, there's a fantastic spa nearby...

This B&B is almost adjacent to Maienfeld railway station, in a small village about half-way between Sargans & Chur. My room was a quiet attic room which was very good value for money. The proprietor was a very friendly and obliging man. I was very happy with my 3 night stay here.

It’s located nearby Heidi House and the view of mountains were so gorgeous. Hotel staff were very nice. I took shuttle and chef helped with my luggage to the platform if Maienfeld! Thank you for exceptional hospitality.

Lovely traditional Swiss hotel in pretty village. Decor is older but spotlessly clean and a lovely change from identikit modern hotels. Nice coffee in room, lovely friendly bar and great food Would go back
