This is a really charming 4th generation family run hotel. From the moment I walked in the door I could tell that this was an extremely well run establishment. Smiling friendly staff who could not do enough. The rooms are comfortable. The homemade Bircher muesli is worth making a trip for itself. Thanks for a really nice stay

A great surprise! A super nice hotel! The room was huge with a very nice view. Very clean! The stuff was extremely friendly and helpfull! Very nice breakfast. Near a train station that can take you to the center within 5 minutes. Highly recommended hotel!

Perfect location!! 5 minutes walk from the main train station and port.Also 5 minutes walk to reach the downtown. The meeting point of all guided 1 day tours organised from Luzern by different travel companies is at the next corner only. So easy to reach. Breakfast was delicious with really fresh and high quality food, I loved it. The ambiance of the hotel is really nice, all the staff was extremely helpful and kind. Room was clean and comfortable. I would choose this hotel for my next visit in Luzern, as well.

We were lucky enough to get a free room upgrade for our stay as they had over booked their standard rooms. The location was ideal right in the heart of the old town and only a 10 min walk to the train station. The facilities, comfort and cleanliness were top marks with washing machines available in the downstairs common area and a kitchenette with sink, hob and dishwasher in our room. Only wish we had booked a longer stay.

    In short - everything! The hotel is family run (now the fourth generation) and I was made very welcome and helped as much as possible. I was lent a Swiss electrical adapter at no cost. Could not sample the hotel restaurant as it was closed on a Monday night but there are good options within a few minutes walk. Would definitely use this hotel again!

    The location is convenient for travel into Lucerne by train. Some easy hikes are also possible. The hotel seems to have a long tradition, and there appears to be a common room one can sit in for reading.
