I loved my stay here. So many positives - the town is beautiful, the hotel staff were super kind and helpful. My room was perfect - comfortable, quiet, and spacious. Finally, the restaurant food was delicious. Thank you so much for making my stay with you so special.

Location. It is great. I visited in beginning of October and it was easy to get there by public transport during that time (it might be different when snow covers the mountain pass). Tickets for some of the local cable cars were included and for some other ones I got a discount (I've used free cable cars only as I've stayed for one day and there was only that much I could visit). I would really encourage to walk around the lake that is down from the hotel as it is beautiful and the view from the dam is also great! Breakfast was very nice as well. One thing to keep in mind - hotel is high up (1900-2000 meters) and if you are not used to mountain hotels, you might have worse sleep quality, not because of the beds or something, but because air is thinner up there and your body need to adjust to that.

Had a wonderful week there. Exactly what we were after! Direct access to the ski tracks, a sauna, lot's of space to read, play, work or talk in a very in-distractive environment. And even the yoga lessons. Will return definitely. Everyone is so lovely and you feel welcome from the first moment.

    The staff in each interaction was really polite and helpful. They told us at the checkin that a table has been reserved for us at the restaurant for dinner! The room was modern and big and the shower was also really comfortable. The toiletries supplied were also really good. The location of the hotel is breathtaking on the Grimselpass, we visited in July and there was still ice floating in the lake. Breakfast was decent and tasty. If the weather is good, the restaurant terrace is an amazing place to have food.

    Mr. Floris and his lovely family are truly exceptional at their job. Great service, very nice big rooms, very clean, and exceptional fresh breakfast. Views, location, quietness, and parking is also great. But first and foremost is that hotel is run by amazing people who treat guests like their family.

    For me this is the perfect alpine hotel: very friendly staff, very clean, spacious rooms, delicious food. It lacks nothing but it still has autenticity and simplicity that I love about alpine life.
