The single room I booked was comfortable and fine for 1 person. The bed was comfortable. The shared shower & toilet were spotless. Towels provided every day if needing a replacement. The weather was very hot so big fans were provided if wanted. Loved the kitchen/ lounge area too. Very central. Just at the end of the Main Street. WiFi worked perfectly. Would definitely stay again!

Everything was just beyond expectations. I met the hist and she was lively and always reachable by phone. The place is located in the city center, just across from the Rathaus. We could see the big Rheinfelden Christmas tree and the decoration in the main street and it was magical. The apartment is quite renovated, spacious, clean and super warm. You have all the amenities you need. It was definitely one of the best experiences booking a place for our family. Thank you Elena.

Wonderful service, great food, lovely decorated rooms and bathrooms -- and extremely accomodating management. I had made a booking mistake, booked one night too early. Hotel manager greenlighted applying the payment to our actual stay instead of charging us more. We're very pleased and will be glad to return to this place.

the location of the hotel is great and the staff is very fiendly . However the price / quality is not correct . No airco in the room , bathroom and especially shower needs to be modernized and not working properly . The breakfast is not according to the normal standards and certainly not considering the price .

Rheinfelden is a wonderful little old town to walk around...

Rheinfelden is a wonderful little old town to walk around for an hour or two (eg. after dinner). It is very charming located next to the Rhine river. The main attraction is Basel, though. There is a German and Swiss train station with connections to Basel (cheap, comfortable and fast).

Perfect wellness world destination for relaxing and...

Perfect wellness world destination for relaxing and restoration! It's easy to get to from Zurich airport, by train and bus. The Sole Uno salt pools have bubble seats, massage waterfalls, warm bubble and whirlpools, a fabulous fire and ice set-up: a hot whirlpool and a cold plunge 14 degree C ice bath, and a cold waterfall room. They have nice wet saunas with various herbs. The downstairs quiet red relaxation pool is fabulous! With underwater music and 14% salt like the dead sea, it is one of the most relaxing and restorative pools ever! There is also a nude sauna area with very hot dry saunas, which could be nice in the colder seasons. Staying at the connected hotel was very pleasant and convenient. They provide robes to wear back and forth to Sole Uno! The included breakfast was customized for me with vegan no-meat slices, vegan yogurt cereal, soy yogurt and soy cappuccino. My only wish would be more vegan options in the buffet and on the menu for vegans and for all the customers who are there to support their optimal health.

The Swiss part of Rheinfelden has a very beautiful old town with many small shops. The German side offers some special restaurants, for example Kiremit (Turkish) or Fratelli (upscale Italian).

The town itself is very appealing and charming.

The town itself is very appealing and charming. Cobblestones, beautiful facades, and small shops invite you to linger. Even shortly before closing time, you'll still receive courteous service. The parks and the location on the Rhine are perfect for leisurely walks and strolls.

A truly wonderful week in a beautiful setting. Close to our destinations of Basel, the Aargau Jura, and Riehen. Extremely friendly hosts, good restaurants nearby, and excellent public transport connections.

The hotel is visually pleasing, well finished, and luxurious. The room was as well. Everything throughout the hotel and the room was extremely clean and in superb condition. The bathroom was modern and water was hot. The bed was confortable. The heating in the room can be adjusted to your liking, and it worked exceptionally well (temp outside was 0 C in the night). The location is great - near the train station and a few meters into the city center. Staff was professional and friendly.

We loved the space and the cleanliness about the property. We loved the features and character of the property and it felt so personal rather than a bigger hotel and the location was perfect for us. The property had everything we needed and the washing machine was really useful with having two young children with us. We would really like to come again.

Great location near the spa, near city, near Rhine river. Room was big, well equipped, very nice room. Hotel lunch/dinner restaurant was good. Breakfast can slightly improve quality. Staff was very polite. Spa was excellent, direct connect from the hotel. The only drawback I would personally say is that hotel price seems high for a 4* hotel.

The view on the Rhein was fantastic, also walking in the town centre. We didn't choose the hotel breakfast, but we ate in the evening in the hotel restaurant, which was excellent. I chose the half portion option for the main course, but even this was too big, after the really rich starters.
