we had room service breakfast ...brilliant. Everything was just lovely. So helpful. Free travel card and discounts to attractions. Lovely position almost on the lake. Staff delighful. The most amazing suite with two of everything, two TVs, two sinks, two rooms, two toilets, two double wardrobes, two sofas, two tables, two balconies and even two big proper keys, with those old fashioned tassles. Old lovely hotel with new ideas. so good, so good, so good!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We were delighted with everything it had to offer, including the rooms, the stunning views, and the exceptionally friendly staff. We loved this hotel, everything is well decorated to Freddie's figure, the room was very nice with the balcony facing the most beautiful view of the lake with the mountains on the back, breath taking view when you wake up. Comfortable beds and nice hot shower! The hotel exceeded our expectations, starting with the reception team Maria and Nouf that were wonderfully helpful to get me all the information and effort to get a plan B due to heavy rain on our arrival. Cheers to Alexandra on the breakfast team, great meal!

Modern Times Hotel is a recent development with comfortable, light and spacious rooms (and some superb views, particularly on the garden side). The hotel facilities and room furnishings are modern, in very good condition and provide for a very comfortable stay. We have found all the staff whom we've encountered to be friendly and helpful and this contributes to the relaxed atmosphere of the hotel. Although located on the edge of Vevey (close to the main autoroute along Lake Geneva and connecting directly to the Bern autoroute), the hotel provides travel cards for the region and there is a good local rail service connecting to Vevey town centre which we have used several times to enjoy the lakeside atmosphere in Vevey. The hotel restaurant, which is also used for breakfast (a pretty extensive buffet), is modern, airy and relaxed. We have stayed here on numerous occasions when travelling through this region on longer trips (so we also appreciate the excellent parking availability) and have never been disappointed.
