Stay here if you want to stay at an authentic Swiss cottage. Saxeten is brilliant. We were so regret that we did not spend more time here, exploring the surroundings. So quiet here, no visitors or cars. You can fully emerge in the brilliant cottage life. The hosts were so friendly. The hotel was quite old style, but clean. Great price especially during the busy months in summer. Definitely recommended.

Awesome location, great size room and nice to get a balcony to see the gorgeous view. Breakfast was pretty good (Nutella on tap!!) but the thing that impressed me the most was the staff. The manager Roger was very responsive when we had a delayed train and thought we couldn't make the check in time. When we arrived with two minutes to spare, he still took the time to tell us about where to explore in Interlaken and even highlighting a map for us. What a gem!

Fantastic views, fantastic staff, went out of their way to make sure we were happy and comfortable. Sara was a gem. She picked us up from the cable car, and I really didn't think the car would make it up to the mountain with us all on board, but she drove like a pro. I can't give any more praise for the place. We stayed in the Japanese room and it was absolutely perfect. Nice view, sauna on the terrace and jacuzzi in the bathroom. The service is excellent and we felt pampered for the entirety of our stay. They delivered breakfast to our room every morning, snacks and sodas/beer were always available in the room (with the possibility of refills), a bottle of white wine and red wine free of charge in the room and we were welcomed with a bottle of prosecco and a delicious cheese/meat platter. Highly recommended for couples who want to spend a relaxing and romantic weekend in the mountains.
