Stay here if you want to stay at an authentic Swiss cottage. Saxeten is brilliant. We were so regret that we did not spend more time here, exploring the surroundings. So quiet here, no visitors or cars. You can fully emerge in the brilliant cottage life. The hosts were so friendly. The hotel was quite old style, but clean. Great price especially during the busy months in summer. Definitely recommended.

The hotel is excellent! Super well located to go anywhere (Jungfraujoch, GoldenPass Panorama, Lauterbrunnen, etc) and you can see what it seems to be a famous location for paragliding. Also you are in a region with lots of restaurants. Excellent breakfast, excellent in terms of comfort and amenities in the room. I would recommend it to anyone!

I've stayed in hotels across nearly 40 countries, and this one easily ranks in my top three. While the location itself may not be the most central, the incredible view more than makes up for it. You truly feel like you're in a tranquil, scenic paradise.
