Our recent stay at Boutique Hotel Stanserhorn was truly one for the books. From the moment we arrived quite late in the evening after a long journey, we were warmly welcomed by the staff, who made sure we felt at home right away. Despite the hour, they were accommodating, attentive, and kind, which set the tone for the rest of our visit. A special commendation goes to the team at Anouk, who went above and beyond when we encountered an unexpected issue at a nearby petrol station. Their willingness to help, their calm guidance, and their genuine care made a potentially stressful situation much easier to handle. It’s rare to experience such a level of personal attention, and it did not go unnoticed. The hotel itself is charming and thoughtfully designed, with a relaxing ambience that perfectly matches the beauty of the surrounding landscape. But what truly makes Stanserhorn stand out is its people. Their hospitality made our trip all the more meaningful. Highly recommended both for the stunning location and the exceptional service.

It was an exceptional experience. The hotel location is in Meggen 12 minutes away by bus to Central Lucern. The view, the cleanliness and the reception staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Miss Leean. Absolutely amazing specially the staff and management. Patrick was so helpful and attentive with a welcoming attitude and good sense of humour.the hotel itself is clean and in a quiet area yet it is still within close proximity to shops and restaurant. Location is fantastic. The room was huge and views were great! Definitely worth the higher hotel rate. Breakfast was excellent and so was the quality of the dinner. Dinner was a slightly longer event but loved the food though the potato dumplings were plain and unnecessary as a side.

The closest one where I stayed for work is the Culinarium...

The closest one where I stayed for work is the Culinarium Alpinum where I require to walk to the office. Also, there is no uber or any local app for cab to be there within the city ride. However, the buses and trains are well connected as the timings alone required to be known well in advance before you travel for the day as the nearest hill for food is Sarnen and nearest station is Stans and from there, you could travel to Lucern or stop trains through hops for Zurich.

The location of Stans is perfect, being away from the crowds...

The location of Stans is perfect, being away from the crowds of Lucerne yet 15 minutes by rail. The station is the main stop for all trains on the line between Lucerne and Engelburgh. The Tell Pass is the most convenient way to travel all around the area.

We decided to base ourselves out of the city and could not have picked a better location and hotel. 20 min by train to lucern and we had a cable car up the mountain across the road. Stans has lovely feel with plenty of bars and restaurants all within walking distance. Would highly recommend staying here.

They had given me different apartment which is not having...

They had given me different apartment which is not having kitchen, I don't know why and when I asked them they told me you have not requested for kitchen. But the images shown are with kitchen, when asked on that they again told, the images shown are of all apartments. The wifi not working, it works only on entry door as it's of the outside restaurant. Flooring is very bad. Not worth to stay.

We planned to visit Lucerne and Grindlewald and settled on Stans for a hotel location. We didn't spend really any time in Stans - it was such a small town, but we were happy we stayed here versus Lucerne as we were burnt our from staying in the center of large cities and simply wanted some quiet and less chaos. Stans has great scenery and is easy to connect to the motorways. Lucerne and Mt. Pilatus are minutes away and easy to get to.

In the town center, you can reach almost everything within a 5-minute walk – pharmacy, bakery, train station, cable car. Only the cheapest parking spaces are located outside the town, about 10-15 minutes away. There, you can park for a whole day for 5 francs.

The structure is very new and there is a lot of space in the room and in the hotel in general. Free parking. Location was ideal because along the highway without losing any time to reach the place. People of the hotel was extremely kind.
